I had 3 companies give me estimates and they were about the same price. I saw Instra on Mike Holmes a lot and liked how thorough they were. From my first phone call to the salesman to the instalation everything was handled in a professional manner. All my questions were answered and from what I saw on Mike Holmes I was comfortable with the answers. I had only R15 insulation and they brought it up to R50+. Because of the lack of insulation we had cold spots around the house. It was January and I figured that I would see an instant change in our cold spots and was getting worried but by the end of the second day our house felt like a thick blanket was covering our house and all the cold spots disappeared and have never come back. One of my concerns was that once the insulation settled would I still have R50. Because I got the insulation installed under the Eco Energy plan when the inspector came for the final inspection his first remark when he inspected the attic was how much insulation I had. He measured R56. I saw a real decrease in my heating and air conditioning costs. I would highly recommend this company.
