Koffman Larkin Fine Homes Ltd

My turn of the century home was in need of some upgrades and additional space. Koffman Larkin has built an addition to my main floor with a dug basement that ties in beautifully with the existing home. The main floor addition is comprised of a kitchen with all the bells and whistles that could not be more beautiful or user friendly. A family room with a lovely fireplace and a powder room off the kitchen complete the home. The hallways have been widened on the main floor along with new hardwood flooring that opens up the space and allows good flow between rooms. The second floor ensuite finishes are all well done and have all the ammenities I asked for. The third floor skylight really does it's job of making the access to the upper bedrooms painless and bright. THe bonus of having a basement with the main floor addition gives us the ability to walk out to the backyard from this level and also gives us another room to entertain in as it houses the pool table. All this was done in a timely and professional manner with excellent communication between all of us.

Was not aware of any new technology to speed up process or keep costs down. Did not come to site. Did not give an accurate budget and when asked for one over 8 months was ignored. When asked why costs were so much higher than in budget comment was..."If I had told you how much it was going to be we wouldn't have gotten the job". Could go on and on with incompetence, inaccuracies, excuses and false information
(eg we were given management fees and found out that they were charging fees for things they shouldn't and had charged us for work that wasn't done)

STAY AWAY. I'M NOT THE FIRST ONE WHO HAS HAD THIS HAPPEN WITH THIS COMPANY. I DIDN'T LEARN EARLY ENOUGH.
