Laurwill & Matthews and Easy Access Inc.

My husband and I recently hired Laurwill & Matthews to renovate our condo in North York. Mitch and his crew gutted the entire condo and completely re-built it.

The kitchen came out fabulous, the bathrooms are beautiful. They relocated the laundry room and made it highly functional.

We have had one or two little issues (a leaky faucet and a broken dimmer switch) and Mitch came over and fixed them both himself under warranty.

We have recommended Laurwill & Matthews to all of the people that we know that are considering renovating or building new homes.

One of the things that we liked best was their attention to detail. We forgot to chose our baseboard and other trim and when we came back they had installed some beautiful wood trim (not the cheap stuff) and didn't even charge us for it.

Laurwill and Matthews provided us with the best experience we have ever had with a renovation project.

I found Laurwill & Matthews on the BUILD website. They came out to our home in the evening and provided us with a no charge initial consultation.

When the time came to sign their contract the price was the same as their verbal estimate and their contract documents and drawings were meticulously prepared.

Upon completion, we came down to the basement for to see the finished project and we were pleased to see our new home theater in working order. The crew did a fantastic job cleaning up and made our home feel special.

The job came in on time and on budget. The only extra charges were for the upgrades which we chose along the way.

These guys are technical wizards and REALLY know their stuff. I would HIGHLY recommend them and we will be using them to do our kitchen and bathroom next year.

If you would like to be patronized, quoted an outrageous amount for your renovations, and, when you choose not to work with them, receive "anonymous" emails about what a terrible person you are, go ahead! I would definitely not recommend "Laurwill & Matthews," aka Easy Access Inc. to anyone.

BEWARE of this renovator! I used this company to redo a master bedroom, guest room and master bathroom. They went way over budget and what was supposed to be a 8 week job turned into 5 months. I knew somthing was wrong when my custom vanity was taking 4 months to be ready. Laurwill and Matthews was extremely hard to work with, had little knowlege of constuction, Trades were not supervised properly and quality control was non-existant. They frequently left my house at the end of the day with the doors unlocked (thank god nothing was stolen). They are not cheap to begin with, then, every change you make WILL COST YOU $$$$. Once the main work of the job was complete they took off and wouldn't return to complete the definciencies and small finishing work. Talking about finishing work....they were completely out to lunch! They pretty much ped the ball on the fine details. They have little knowledge of existing products that could make your reno look better. I finally had to fire them and finish the work myself. I would never use this company again.
