I booked with magic monkey End of July/beginning of Aug for Eaves cleaning with Patrick which is the owner I suspect. Patrick sent out a young kid named Jesse. He climbed the roof on his own and had no harness. I understand that companies are insured, but no one wants to deal with a dead body on their lawn either. In a word Jesse made a mess. Leaves, shingle grit and dirt were on all four sides of my house when he left, including several dirty windows. I called Patrick, which told me he would discuss with Jesse. I also sent him pictures to prove. Patrick sent Jesse back the next day to clean up his mess. I am giving the company a 5 due to how Patrick dealt with the issue. He dealt with it professionally, fast and it got done. I would of given the company that also cleans windows a 8 or 9 if he offered me a discount on the actual Eaves cleaning or for window cleaning since the dirt and mud also made a mess of my windows. I guess next time I will contact on of the higher rated companies.

First off lets talk about my house and how it was before and after you left it..as this construction that keeps poking it's little head needs to stop. There is only broken concrete on one side of my house left from a base pour...the concrete did not have any leaves in it before you came..it did after you left..as per my picture. The mud and dirt was not there before you came it was after you left. I have had no other construction around my house that would cause dirt/mud and debris at the point that it was found as per my picture. You mention that I am trying to extort services from you..if I was then I would of mention both my windows when we talked..which I didn't and you mentioned that I didn't and also I would of mentioned window cleaning or a discount when we spoke which I didn't and I even have proof from an email that I sent to you that I have no problem paying the full amount as long as you returned to clean up you crappy mess. The mess I mention could be interpreted as superficial as you say..but I posted the photo's for others to decide not you. Furthermore I don't care that Jessie is 26 or if he was 40..i really don't care if you have 10 million in liability no person should walk on anyone's roof without a harness.Period. if I wanted to get home and find a dead body on the driveway I would of called a morgue not a cleaning service. Also since we are one the subject of him being such a professional..lets talk about how he used my neighbors GARBAGE not green bin to place my leaves into. Now I have two issues with this..first if he was profession he would of used my garbage bin not my neighbors which are both located across from each other, second he should of used the green bin not the garbage bin..any "professional" knows where the leaves should be placed. Hence why I sent in a late reply..as you say one month later...it was a few week after you left that my neighbor told me how she had to clean out all my leaves out of her garbage and put them in her green bin. I find this very disrespectful of peoples property..not only my own and how it was left and other's that were not even part of the transaction. How dare you accuse me of trying to extort you...I only made suggestions as to how to better yourself and you company in the future when you screw up...I guess constructive criticism doesn't go far with you or your company. 0 stars for both now buddy... way to handle the situation on homestars all while trying to make yourself look like the hero.

Michael, I think your review is unreasonable and quite unfair given the fact that we discussed this issue the same day of your service and agreed to return and correct it the very next day. Which we did. We also provided you with pictures of our own showing a spotless clean-up of the areas pictured. *Those pictures can be found in my Picture Gallery by clicking on the "Show more galleries" tab for people who are reading this to see as our proof.
I would like to take the opportunity here to clarify a few discrepancies in your statements...
First off, there was dirt and debris scattered around the perimeter of your house from previous construction activity prior to our initial arrival and eaves cleaning service evidenced by the chunks of cement and dirt from your pictures. There was no mud inside your eaves therefore the mud on the ground was not a result of our eaves cleaning. There was no such dirt or mud left on your windows nor was this mentioned to me the day of your eaves cleaning service on July 29th or July 30th when we returned to clean up the areas pictured. I should also point out the "mess" you were referring to and pictured turned out to be quite minor and superficial. I think most people will be able to tell from your pictures anyways.
Secondly, Jesse who was your service technician is a 26 year old man. He is an experienced professional with a background in roofing, eaves-trough installation and repair. On top of that, our company carries over $2 million dollars in skilled trades liability insurance to protect our selves and our valued clients.
Given the fact that we successfully completed your eaves cleaning service and returned the following day to clean the perimeter of your grounds at no extra cost and emailed you pictures of our clean-up, yet you still feel the need to post negative comments one month later clearly indicates your effort to manipulate the HomeStars review system in a disrespectful attempt to receive discounts and extra services free of charge or merely as leverage to exploit and bully service providers here with the threat of a negative review. This kind of behavior is a form of extortion that no service provider here should tolerate. By coming out of my professional conduct and saying this I only hope other service providers here take note and avoid dealing with people like you in the future.
