Mark Goger Stone Work

The first time I met Mark, I find him different from the rest of the contractors who came to provide me an estimate. He cares about what I want to do and suggested what's appropriate and what's not. Even though my back yard is very small, he's able to come up with ideas that set it apart from the rest of the contractors. During the course of work, he's willing to make changes to accommodate my requirement and explained any question I have to my satisfaction. My wife and I are very pleased with the finished product and we certainly would recommend Mark to our relatives and friends.

Marc and his crew were wonderful. When Marc started my project I was up north for two weeks. I kept picturing in my head what it was going to look like. When I opened the gate to the backyard I started to tear up as it was more beautiful then I imagined it would look like. Marc is a true craftsman. Not to mention that he completed the project on time, way under budget and phoned when he said he was going to. I keep going out on the back patio or the front as I can't stop looking at it- it completely transformed the look of my house. His crew were always polite,cleaned up after themselves and do exemplary work. I think that this is rare in a contractor. Marc helped me pick out flagstone that complemented my house and looked so beautiful. He made hiring someone which I find to be intimidating and scary (Homes on Homes) and made the project stress- free and easy for me. Marc if you read this thank you so much for the care and effort you put into my project. It was worth every penny.

Mark came and was very thoughtful about our project. He offered us solutions that were completely within our budget. He arrived on time and did the job. He left the site clean. Our work is beautiful and we are complimented on it all the time. From the moment I met Mark, I felt I could trust him which is rare in a contractor. I never felt that he was trying to sell me. He is the guy that does the quote and the work so there is no miscommunication.

Mark and his small company were just what we needed to complete our homes exterior look. He runs a small and very effective company. The job was done not only on time, but with expertise and total skill. When a very small problem arose the next year (not a problem with his work, but because of tree branches falling), Mark completed the repair at a VERY small price. Thanks again Mark for everything.

Our front stairs, walkway, and back patio were in desperate need of renovation. Marc was involved with every aspect of the project, from the design and stone selection right through to the end result. Because our house is set on a hill, the issues were as multi-layered as the terrain, but Marc and his assistant rose to the occasion. We were so pleased with our very solid, very attractive, and very contemporary-looking stone work that we have hired Marc to tackle the daunting task of designing and constructing a new and very large retaining wall at the front of our property this spring.

Mark re-faced our entire, crumbling porch. He is a stone mason of the old school - hammer, chisel, a keen eye and love for the material. The end result looks great and adds value to our home.
