A Canadian woodstove in Ireland
Many years passed and we were in the market for a new woodstove to bring over to Ireland to heat the property we had purchased and were intending to renovate on the seacoast in Kerry. We went to several places and remembered that we had bought from Marsh’s almost 30 years previously. The Regency line is what we had looked at elsewhere and when it came to the deal they were by far and away the best in pricing. We were also sold because of their expert knowledge (esp. that of Robert with whom we dealt with) of their products and willingness to share this with us to make an informed decision. They have been in business for over 68 years and have staff that have been with them from the beginning which tells you that the employees have been valued for their capacities and have stayed to make this enterprise such a professionally run success. The genuine congeniality of the founder Richard and his staff, Austin, Allan -Richard’s son in law and wife (Richard's’s daughter) Joanne, as well as Robert creates a most welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for the customer. Also so appreciated was their service from Austin’s delivery to our container for shipping to when I came back from Ireland and needed some very specific nuts for a collar for the chimney that were lost during the new build, Allan, instead of sending us away to Home Depot, took what we needed off an existing stock item rather than ordering for us, obviating a further trip into pick them up-I can’t say how much that consideration meant to me, on a tight schedule to get everything done before going back. To Richardk and all - MARSH’S “GO BRAE” (Irish for “forever”!) and gor meille m’agat
- Approximate cost of services:
- $2,600.00
