House is six months old, and the late fall weather brought several eavestrough leaks to light. The leaks appeared to be a combination of poor corner sealing, and out-of-level troughs. As well, porch roof drain, trough and downspout were not installed properly (leaking, not straight, no crimps at connections, etc.). Over the holidays, sent an email to Darren asking for his help. He responded very quickly, and scheduled a site visit to assess. With the clear and detailed quote in our hands, North Shore was hired to fix the issues. Within a few days, Nick and Darren arrived and did a fantastic job fixing all the problem areas. Before they began, Nick and Darren took the time to look at other areas around roof drainage. Although they concluded that these were not urgent, we were alerted to additional areas to be watched for potential water issues. Shortly after the work was completed, we had a solid rain and everything worked perfectly! Thank you to Darren and Nick. We will call them, and only them, for any future work on our eaves and downspouts. Highly recommend them!

HI Mark, Properly sloped and sealed eavestroughs are essential to rain water management. If eaves are not sloped properly, the water can sit in the eaves, weighing them down and causing them to bend. In summer these stagnant pools can help breed mosquitoes. We are glad that Darren and Nick were able to fix the deficiencies and make you aware of other areas to watch out for.
