My kitchen reno started off good until Ikea completey messed up my kitchen measurements and shipped some wrong items for my kitchen. Unfortunately it wasn't until PEG came on the day of the installation that we realized this. The guys who came were great. They were smart, hard workers and did a great job. But the job didn't get finished in the two days anticipated - mostly due to the intial mistakes by Ikea. Therefore PEG had to come back. All was going well until someone from Peg told me that my job would be finished today. I emptied my kitchen cabinets (the ones I had filled) to allow the guys room to finish the job. No one came. I called the PEG office 3 times today, left messages, no one called me back. I still have not heard back from anyone at this point. So currently, my kitchen is still unfinished, there seems to be no accountability from PEG, no one seems to care there that I took the day off of work to be home for them to come and finish the job or the fact that I spent an hour last night emptying my cabinets - now all of my food, dishes etc... are scattered throughout my living room... I have been living with a half finished kitchen since Nov.6. When I was told this past Friday that they would finish the job today, I was so excited... up until now PEG has been the one good thing about this whole experience with Ikea... it is no longer. I don't even care about my new kitchen anymore. All the joy and excitement I once had is gone. I realize now that you can't get good service, honest committment from anyone, anymore... and that is just sad. I guess as long as they have your money, it doesn't matter to them anymore. I'm now just an inconvenience. It doesn't matter that I have two small kids and my life is already chaotic enough without having my kitchen stuff spread throughout my living room. I can't even stand to be in my kitchen anymore because this whole experience has been horrible. I wish I had just used Home Depot. If I had, I doubt I would now be sitting at my computer at 7:00 pm crying while typing this review because I'm on the verge of a complete breakdown because I'm so upset.

I am sorry to learn that you felt this way after a PEG CORP representative returned your call before the end of our business day on Nov. 24th. Our procedure in the office for scheduling work is to confirm the day before with the customer as to what time to expect us to arrive. We as a company stand behind our integrity and reputation. I can assure you that we care about our customers and have never walked away from a job site without the job being finished to completion. When the office responded to you this morning to resolve your kitchen issues I was not aware of this posting.
