Penfolds Roofing & Solar

After talking with two other roofing companies, my wife and I decided to contact John at Penfolds Roofing to redo our flat roof with their PenMax seamless flat roofing. We wanted a seamless roof and Penfolds did a very good work. I would recommend Penfolds Roofing to anyone to redo their roof.

My wife Katharine and I want to sincerely thank Adam and the Penfolds team for making what looked like a scary experience of replacing our roof so late in the year to a very satisfying one. It's likely the most money one will spend on a house on an area that no one ever really notices but it's funny that now that I've gone through it I now notice roofs every day and especially ours and I can truthfully say I had never bothered in the past.

The Penfolds experience was above and beyond, right from meeting Adam. He is to be commended for his professional and courteous way of carrying himself. I have been in sales for over 25 years and I'm not an easy sell but he was prompt, prepared and a stand out amongst the other companies that we had quote the job. As for the work itself we couldn't be happier and sleep well at night most especially though these past few weeks with so much rain. Thank you to the crew ( including the gutter and down pipe company) for working so hard throughout the job navigating the dry days to get it done while maintaining a level of quality control that we would not regret leaving the replacement so long past the hot summer days and have the job hurried through. I truly wish I had committed two years ago when Adam first came by.

Penfolds was not the cheapest quote we obtained but the way Adam presented Penfolds as a company and with his knowledge of the job from A to Z, we felt comfortable parting with our hard earned savings with no looking back. I would highly recommend Adam and the Penfolds team to anyone that is looking to replace their roof.

To be honest, thought Penfolds might have been on the high side of the three quotes I received. As it turned out they were the middle quote, but were by far the most puntual, and proffesional of all. Johnathan was very pleasant, proffesional, and easy to work with.

The project went off without any issues, and in a very timely matter. Would recommend Penfolds with no reservations to my friends and family.

Although their quote was a bit higher, I opted for Penfolds because of their excellent reputation and warranty. I cannot say enough about the patience and professionalism of Jonathan Manca our project manager. I would certainly recommend Penfolds Roofing after a first-rate experience.

Ken Hildebrand (the chimney guy) was here yesterday and finished up the roof work. All the Penfold's employees were great. They did excellent work and the cleanup was very good!

From my initial contact with Adam from Penfolds, to the production coordination by Scott, Ron and Stuart I am very satisfied with my Ziplok Metal roof. I decided on a Penfolds metal roof as I wanted a low maintenance solution that I would never have to worry about again. Their price was competitive,the warranty outstanding and the service I received throughout the project was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their roof.

We are happy with the service we got from Penfolds. The crew was amazing (fast, polite, clean). They also gave us a reasonable price. We had to wait for about 3 weeks before the work started though. They did a good job on our roof.

When I decided to replace my cedar shake roof, I did think about using another company. But I had used Penfolds 6 years earlier to replace some shakes and ridge caps and had been pleased with the quality and the work. Also 3 or 4 of my neighbours had roofs done with Penfolds this past spring. I asked one neighbour his opinion of the job that was done and he told me how pleased he was. I contacted the company and Michael Schoeman was able to come out right away to look the job over and give me an estimate. I was pleased with his honest, forthright manner. He wasn't pushy or aggressive. I wanted the roof done as soon as possible and within a week the crew set to work. The crew members were all very polite, prompt and tidy. They were especially careful at protecting the plants in my garden beds which I really appreciated. The roof was completed within a reasonable amount of time and everything was tidied up well. Michael came to check on how they were doing too. I hear that Penfolds is more expensive than other companies but I think you get what you pay for with this company - skilled workers and quality work. I am told that their roofers are employees of Penfolds and are not hired just for a job which was definitely a selling point for me.

Our previous roof failed far short of warranty (and NO backup by contractor or materials manufacturer). Penfolds were not the least expensive but clearly were honest (did not hide that we needed plywood to go over our ancient shiplap) and had a great reputation. They did the work extremely well and as promised. I was particularly impressed when they helped by providing sample shingles so we could colour match another reno project nearly a year after they had been paid. Trust them; have confidence in them. Good work, good clean-up, superior customer care.

After living in our house for some 20 years, this summer we were finally in need of having to put a new roof on our house. The project was complex in that we needed to replace the cedar shakes with fiberglass/asphalt shakes, resurface a flat section of the roof with a torched on fabric, as well as to replace the built in gutters and 5 skylights. We contacted three roofing companies for estimates and immediately Penfolds stood out among the three as a company that we felt comfortable with to take on our project. From our first contact with Michael and also later on with Ron we felt that we were in good hands and this was proven to be true as the project got underway. The installation crew were very efficient, got an amazing amount of work done each day, and were very respectful of not only our property and gardens but our neighbour’s properties as well. Before wrapping up for the day, the crew always ensured that all debris was cleaned up and that the property was left looking neat and tidy. We were relieved to see that unlike some other companies, once the project was commenced the crew stuck with our project for the 4 days until it was finished. Overall we were very impressed with the knowledge, skills, and professionalism of all the employees that were involved in providing us with a very good quality and good looking roof, and we would recommend them to anyone.
