Plumbing Mart - No Longer in Business

CONSUMER BEWARE!!!

I started this project in September 2013. It is now Nov. 1, 2016 and it still has to be completed. I had to go to cabinet maker myself to get kitchen cabinets finished. PLUMBING MART WAS UNABLE TO COMPLETE YET THEY DID NOT RETURN OR EVEN OFFER TO RETURN FUNDS PAID FOR UNFINISHED WORK. Basement & Bathroom projects started later by different companies are completed yet Plumbing Mart was not able to complete their project in 3 years.

Do not use Plumbing Mart for any bathroom renovations. I had 3 bathrooms completely gutted and redone. The project took 7 months and the scheduling of this project was terrible. They were more concerned with getting their money up front than showing up on time. Some work was okay but never again will I use them. Very unhappy overall.

Please do not use this company - Stay away unless you want pain and heartache! This company was hired for two jobs - one to convert a tub to a shower in our main bathroom and the other job was to renovate a shower in our bathroom in our master bedroom. The conversion of the tub was started first and what was to take two weeks took three months. There was one issue after another - we started with a leak in the plumbing that required our living room ceiling to be redone. Next we had a tile fall on the shower base that was installed and it had to be removed and reinstalled. The first tile job was very poor so the everything needed to be removed and redone.We had six different guys come in to do the job. One of the workers spilled glue on the bathroom floor so now the whole floor needed to be replaced. The first drain was installed incorrectly so had to be removed which required another hole to be cut in the living room ceiling. The tile job was very poor especially the installation of the mosaic. We still continue to have problems with a smell in the bathroom if more than one person has a shower. Needless to say we did not go ahead with the second job that they were to do.

We needed to update our family bathroom. We chose to remove the existing toilet, bidet & pedestal sink and floor tiles. Colleen was very helpful and respectful of our budget in the planning. John did all of the installation and was very quiet, neat and professional. All was done on time, in budget and in 3 days. We are VERY pleased. Thanks

When I purchased my house, the shower did not have a door - only a flimsy plastic curtain. I looked online to see the styles offered and especially included delivery and installation. And, Plumbing Mart had a lot of styles and also offered installation. I just called them and informed them of my measurements, and they arranged for someone to come out to my house to install it. I am very happy with my choice and the installation. The product also had a 10 year warranty for the parts, and I only had to replace the plastic sweep once without charge.

Plumbing mart is accomodating to their customers, good prices, courteous service and wide selection. The latest trends in bathrooms and kitchens. Also a location in the Hamilton area. Worthwhile browsing.

Hired because of recommendation to fix an emergency problem. As soon as John walked in the door he was great. He found other problems which need immediate repair, came up with great solutions and so many little extra jobs without asking. He cleaned up after he worked he even let my dogs out. He was great!
