Plumbing Mart

I hired plumbing mart in October to renovate my grandmother's bathroom. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. The sales rep Victor did not tell the truth and gave false promises. A two week job took over 5 months. Never use plumbing mart.

We had an older toilet that was leaking. Our plumber indicated to replace the flapper. We went to Home depot, home hardware and even Lowes and couldn't find any, since the toilet was an older model.He recommended we go to Plumbing Mart and we found the correct peace there, they even had more than one model to choose from. They are great for replacement peaces.

We had the pleasure of meeting a design consultant for the bathroom shower project, who has no skills in designing or consulting. Measurements were wrong, products on back order, providing an inexperienced contractor - the list is exhaustive. I think the challenging part was the miscommunication - no one wanted to take ownership or responsibility or actually apologize for any inconvenience caused. It was just business as usual for them, a project that was sold as a 4-day project turned into a month long debacle - we had a change mid work of contractor and project manager. The ONLY good thing about this whole experience was the second contractor who ACTUALLY KNEW what he was doing! The first contractor put a hole in the wall through to the next bedroom, then indicated he did not know how to install a shower door.
When you are in the business of renovating homes - it is not just about the products, as the consumer can independently select and search for them - it is about the service. It appears Plumbing Mart forgot that part of the agreement.

6 years after winning a bathroom makeover from PM have had to pay $1200 for a plumber to fix a leak. I didn't like this company after they miscommunicated the work they would do and we had to sand, prime and paint our own trim and walls. I have have spent $15,000 myself and done a better job. OH ha, we also upgraded the shower doors for $6,000. I would never recommend this company to anyone...ever!

Had to replace a broken toilet in our 10 year old house. Shopped around. Went to plumbing mart, the staff were very knowledegable about the product lines, benefits, rebates available. Offered a price inclusive of installation. Prompt service and professional installation.

Plumbing Mart made an excellent job in my bathroom and I am very satisffied with that i would recomend all my fireds to do their renovations there, because they know how to do it, and well done!!!

Plumbing Mart did my home renovation. They built up my kitchen. Gave me tons of ideas right at the beginning. I loved their ways to save money and select the best product. Installers were wonderful. Project Manager always remained at the top of the things. All the work was done as scheduled. No problems. Followed high work standards.

They did a good job in my house and I'm very satisfied with the renovation, the bathroom it is well done, I saw their profesionalism and the dedication, We are going to renovate our kitchen with them too.

I could not ask for more. I got value of my money. Everything was taken care of in a professional way. I have seen reviews of a couple of guys but they have tons of satisfied customers too like me.

I would NEVER recommend Plumbing Mart to any one. The experience started out pleasant enough. I was told the final payment would be applied on the last day of the renovation - it was not - it was applied 2 days prior at the same time as the 3rd installment. This was well before it was even close to completion.

When I spoke with the "project manager", who happens to be the president of the company, he was extremely rude. He told me that my job was nothing and they didn't care. He said that he doesn't "deal" with customers - yet he took the time to yell at me over the phone (I never met him in person). He said that they have clients that give him the keys and leave the country - this is interesting because I had to give my keys to the installer and he had free reign to come and go as he pleased. The only thing I didn't do was leave the country. They made promises that they did not deliver. I have sent emails and cannot get an answer from any one - "president", "project co-ordinator", or "salesman". No one from the company came by to see the final project. 1 part is missing and I was told from their sales person they would mail it to me. This was 2 weeks ago and I have not yet received it - yet I paid for it.

It was extremely disappointing to have spent a lot of money and be treated with such disrespect. I hope you run... not walk from any dealings with Plumbing Mart.
