Rico Electric

We hired Rico Electric to install potlights in a kitchen reno we were doing, we also discovered our panel was outdated and needed to be changed.
Stan and Subbash were both outstanding to have in my home.
I would not hesitate to use them and refer them to others !

I had some issues with electrical fluctuations and called RICO to check it out. They found the cause of the problem and contacted the hydro company to repair. He left the place in a neat order and even followed up to ensure the hydro company had contacted us.

During the summer, I had the team from Rico Electric come out to the house to assess our knob & tube replacement costs, replace our panel, and put in pot lights in a 110 year old row house in the Junction. Subbash came out, and we had instant confidence that he knew how to handle the upgrade, and that he would take good care of our house.

When we contracted Rico to do the work, Adrian and his team did a fantastic job, replacing everything in under the quoted time. He took exceptional care of our old home, including minimizing plaster damage.

This weekend we blew a circuit. A horrible burnt smell came from our electrical panel and we panicked. After multiple phone calls, Subhash was the only one that answered. He came to help within hours. He was fast, courteous and very informative. He diagnosed the problem quickly. He replaced & moved the breaker and checked the remaining ones. After going through my regular electricians we use for our clients upgrade needs, I found myself somewhat stuck betewwn a rock and a hard place. So of course I came to Homestars.com and found Rico Electric. We booked a appointment for the next day, Rico showed up at 8am as promissed and began their work, 12 hours later with no stop for lunch, Adrian and his apprentice had rewired a new service panel, 40amp outdoor breaker and hooked up a Heat Exchange Pump for our client that day without a hitch. They even made sure to relabel every circuit breaker in the house so our client would know exactly what switch did what room. They left the house clean as they found it and were very polite & professional. I highly recommend Rico Electric to Business or Home Owner to get the job done on time and on budget. We needed to have our electrical panel upgraded and Rico was there to do the job. The workers were on time and worked diligently until the job was complete - I even found out that they didn't take time for lunch! We are very satisfied with this company and will call them in the future for our electrical needs.

Adrian was on time, professional, and friendly. He did a great job and was very neat about it too. We couldn't be more pleased and highly reccomend them. We're planning to install under the counter lightling inn the kitchen and plan to contact Rico and ask for Adrian.

I had a problem with a breaker triping occasionally when the pool pump was running.
I contacted Rico Electric in the afternoon and was told they will send an electrician tomorrow. Rico called at 8:30a.m. and the electrician was here within 1/2 hour.
I explained the problem and STAN checked the breaker, then the junction box, locating the pump wiring and tested the current as well as explained exactly what he was doing. Stan located the problem and changed the breaker. Stan also checked the entire breaker for any faulty wiring connections.
Rico Electric are well represented with Stan as he was a professional, easy to understand with a sense of humor as well as educating me on the electrical wiring etc.
In the future as we continue to upgrade our electrical in the backyard we will only use Rico Electric.
The cost was lower then I expected as well as no charge for estimate.

I had a condo to stage but the condo lighting was so old that it was not doing it justice so I shopped around for an electrician and did not have much luck in the customer service department until I phoned Rico Electric - I spoke with Shiv, the manager and he sent out on of his guys who did all the light fixtures I needed quickly and efficiently and with no mess at all. My clients were thrilled and it helped me stage the condo without worrying anymore about the outdated lighting.
