Rona Home & Garden - Queen St E

I went looking for a psi machine, but wasnt at all helped. I had asked one employee who directed me to the wrong section. when i finally stumbled upon them after about 20 minutes of searching, the prices were a bit more than those of they sell at canadian tire which was next door. All in all, i'd go to their competitors as my first time experience at rona was not good at all.

The customer service peoople where very knowledgeable and friendly. THey took the time to explain how to care for the plants and how to keep pests away. I would recommend for other green thumbs to visit this garden centre and get ideas. Airmiles rock!

I went in to rona, and I did not know much. When I walked out of there I new about 90% of what I needed to know. Thanks to the people there. They helped me pick what I wanted, and get the right tools.

with install they aways helped when i had quetion--suggest thing i would need for the plumbing-- for a lot yourselfer always new the product a big helwould suggest rona for your home reno projects

Megan and Kim at Rona were great at coordinating what I needed for the renovation. Michael the installer provided a high quality of workmanship. The end result is great. The only problem was that it took way too long to get done.

I asked Rona to quote us for a new counter top, I brought the measurements they gave me an approximate cost, I went back with more questions and they told me they would have to check with the manufacturer to get me the answers.
Well I phoned them back, they still didn't have the reply, so I went elsewhere, bought the counter top, had it installed, and Rona to this day, three months later, never got back to me with the answers i required.

When it came time to retile our tired kitchen my wife and I spent several weeks looking around and desiding on what type, colour and style of tile to use. When we looked through the Rona selection we found a great dark green porcelain tile with a stamped stone finish at the best price around. Also when in the store to pick-up the tile the staff were teriffic and at one point we had three people helping us with getting the product from upper shelves as well as making shure that we had every thing that we needed to do the job from A to Z, i.e.: the tile, grout, adhesife, grout sealer, troules, sponges, etc...

They were GREAT!!!!

We ordered 2 doors and 2 windows from Rona. They were several weeks late with delivery. First rain 2 windows leaked and water came in under one door. Weeks before installer comes back, turns out he forgot to caulk windows and doors. Air still comes through the windows and one year later the problem has still not been resolved. Will never deal with them again...Oh, they didn't put my air miles through either!

Kitchen renovation was to take 3 weeks but did not get finished for 3 months. Some cabinets did not arrive, some were the wrong size and some were damaged. Countertop does not fit and was installed improperly damaging the cabinets. Floor is uneven with no grout along the wall.Got credit for only 20% of the returns and it took 3 months after many calls. Flooring estimate was short by 40%. Bruce Hardwood floor had to be replaced 10 months later due to defective product. Many staff changes with no continuity.

I work in the landscaping industry. I was out when day when my ride on mower broke on me. I tool it this Queen St. Rona with it hitched on y trailer. One of the employees happened to be a tool mechanic and fixed it up for me. It did need to be taken into the shop that night because the repair job the Rona employee did wasn't the best to say the least. But hey, the price (free) and the help were definately a welcomed surprise.
