We have been with Scott Security for over 20 years and were doing some renovations to our home. I wanted to see if we could also upgrade our alarm system. I gave them a call and within the next two days I had a technician come in to upgrade my entire system! Quick service and professional. Our new security system has all the new modern technologies, I can use my phone to control all aspects of my home! I highly recommend these guys.

I have them in numerous business's. Over the last year my managers and staff have been constantly complaining. Opening 3 more business's and they will not be in any of them. Currently have $450 in Municipal false alarm charges due to their equipment malfunctioning.

Good company - install was great but their monitoring service is not local anymore. Quick friendly service . Same pricing as every other company. Service guy was super awesome. Will use them for a long time.

We have had Scott Security for over 15 years and have always loved them. I don't know what has happened but we have called and called and called that we can't view our cameras - nobody calls back even when we leave messages with reception?? We have now had to make the decision to start phoning around and pricing with other companies. I just don't understand. Why treat long time customers like that. I think they are telling us they want us to go. Wouldn't you?

We have had Scott for several years and have had deteriorating service since the company was merged (with a larger company) not too long ago. My last exchange will tell the story.... Recently our alarm started beeping and the trouble light came on at 7:30a a.m. (we have a fully monitored system). I called Scott's Service phone number when I explained the problem (alarm beeping and trouble light on). They said they could not help and I should call during regular business hours starting at 8:30. At 8:40 I called again and got the service department. I explained my problem (again), a man now said "sorry, can't help you, call back later to get a technician". I asked "when will that be?" He said after 9:00a.m. So I called at 9:30 and got a third different person who told me "sorry, the technician isn't in the office", so she took my number and would pass it on to the technician (there's only one???) would call me. She couldn't give me a time, I was just supposed to wait by the phone for a call. To make a long story short, it took several calls and much frustration even to get their attention. We have now identified a far better company who takes customer care and service seriously.

Home alarm not working, tech visited 5 times for false alarms! Could not correct problem. Had system removed after 2 weeks, having problems getting refund 10 days later! Monitoring company called after system was removed stating that they were receiving an alarm from our house! Unbelievably bad experience!

We had Scott security monitoring our Condo for 3 years from 2007-2010, so when we moved to a house in 2010 we decided to keep Scott Security. They were really good at ensuring everything was done in a timely manner. Our windows and doors were already pre-wired for an Alarm system, so it made their job a little easier but still everything was done rather quickly.

The only thing i have an issue with is their lack of technological advances such as the video monitoring over internet/cellphones since other companies are now offering those systems at comparable or lower monthly costs than what I'm paying now ($30/month). I feel for $360 annually I should be getting more than just a monitoring from a central dispatch. Other companies are offering simple alarm monitoring for far less money.

Nevertheless Scott Security was always good at being able to upgrade my panels and to accommodate my needs.

We have been customers for 2 years and are really happy with the service so far. We think the company offers good value for the price we pay, and sytem set-up was very easy, Any time we have questions, we find customer service to be really helpful.

After dealing with another company for over 20 years we were anxious to upgrade and improve our system as well as the service. Sales person was super professional, no pressure, reasonably priced. We signed up 6 months ago and are totally happy with them. System is easy to use, compact, meets all our needs and gives us peace of mind. The monitoring centre is on the phone right away if the alarm goes off (false alarms!) and are professional and respectful. Very impressed.

After a bad experience, i decided to install a alarm system.
They adjust their system to the size of your house and explain you in details how it works.
The after sale department wasa great too.
