I hired Solo Crete to do a concrete patio in my backyard. They did a fantastic job. I got over 10" of concrete. They designed, started and finished the job on time, and cleaned up after the job was completed. They made sure that both eavestroughs, and my deck were fixed back as they found it and even better. They came back after the job was completed to make sure everything was done satisfactory. This is the best price for the amount of concrete poured. They did a patio for me 17 years ago, and it still looks great. A lot of my neighbours have used them, and they are all very happy. They are still the best when in comes to quality and price for concrete work.

This was the second job John and his crew at Solocrete completed at my house and let me say this, AMAZING!
I have had some bad experiences in the past with contractors and trades people doing poor quality work irk and promising one thing but delivering another. Some contractors trying playing the guilty game when theyre close to completion saying that they should be charging more. This is a sign of their lack of professionalism or time in the trade.

It was not like this with Solocrete. John and his team were always on time and when they showed up in the morning, ready to work. Very friendly crew and even making suggestions to have the final product turn out even better. John is very fair in price and believe me if you find cheaper the quality wont be there. You get what you pay for! I have many of my neighbours complementing me on the work and I dont hesitate referring Solocrete. When you feel so confident about a companys ability to satisfy customers its with peace of mind.

John attended to give an estimate and the next day 730am Victor was at my door prepping our discoloured concrete steps for Jewel Stone which is an ultimate in acrylic modified cement-based coatings which Victor transformed our concrete steps into beautiful decorative faux stone finish. We were very happy with the result and so were our neighbours and friends.

It is with great pleasure to say that the Solocrete family is an amazing team. We met with Daniel several times to finalize our driveway, garden wall, 2 side entrances and steps leading to the shed. The final result far exceeded our expectations. We decided on exposed aggregate with a bull nose finish and charcoal stamped concrete for the border. We also did matching charcoal parging on our foundation. They completed the task to perfection. They literally excavated our entire property and damaged nothing. We could not believe the transformation. I could not believe how happy they are while working and it is very hard work. They are always happy to please as they were not happy unless we were. Solocrete was recommended to me by a client who was really impressed with a pool patio he had done. They got the concrete with the little colourful stones exposed and thats what I wanted. I now know its called exposed aggregate. They guys came in crews, the first to excavate, later that day a crew to make the forms. I got some advice on adding a step and perfecting my shape. Good advice! We had a couple rain days but then they were back. They poured and then the next day they power washed and the stone were exposed. They also put a sealant on a couple days later to protect it. Our new walkway and patio are gorgeous and they charged me less than they originally quoted. (Ive never experienced that before) All the guys were polite, friendly and there seemed to be good camaraderie amongst the workers, which was nice.

Solocrete is a very reliable company that performs an outstanding job.
The kind of work they do is so perfect it can be differentiated from their competitors. The workers are trained in a way to leave everything nice and clean. The price is the best in the market.

We had Solocrete come in to price along with a few other contractors to do our patio, walkways porch, driveway borders and a basement slab. We settled on going with them as we felt we would ultimately be happiest going this way with our concrete. If you're looking for all the bells and whistles of cad drawings and designers, thats not their way of business. Very old school approach, not pushy at all and they had every option available to see in person at their office. John and his team come with years of experience and knowledge that it really didnt concern us that there were no cad drawings. We've seen work that they've done in our neighborhood and 5-10 years later the work still looked just as good. The whole crew is very hard working, experienced and efficient. They have specialized crews for each portion of the job which keeps things consistent and we appreciated the pride they all had in their craft. John told us the whole job would be a 2 week process from start to finish and they stuck to their timeline. At the end of the project there were a few areas that we wished we had parged on the foundation and Daniel sent his crew back for a few hours to do so for us without hesitation. Overall we are very happy with our experience and would gladly reccomend Solocrete.

I am writing this review to highly recommend SoloCrete General Contrating Ltd for an Award of Excellence. They very efficiently & timely came to our home upon request to give us an estimate and then followed up respecting our wishes to only do the initial part of what we were quoted.
They removed, framed and replaced our front entry sidewalk, stairs, and porch. Each stage of the project was carefully supervised and our requests to adjust the width of the sidewalk was accommodated.
Before the fee for service was collected we had a personal visit from one of the SoloCrete owners to ensure that everything about the completed job met to our satisfaction. A second friendly visit was made to our home to collect payment as they were aware that my husband had health issues preventing him from getting out and about.
I might add that the reputaion of this company was highly praised and well acknowledged by our neighbors as we were the 5th project to be done by them in our area. Before we contacted Solocrete all 4 recipients of their prior services gave accolades to the excellence of their workmanship!! We add our praises and strongly support SoloCrete General Contracting Ltd being nominated for an award of excellence.

We wanted to get the exposed concrete work done for my front yard. I looked into similar projects in my neighborhood and based on the work and feedback received decided to go with Solocrete. They did great work and within the time line promised. Based on the work done in my frontyard I decided to award them the concrete work for my backyard too. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

This company has a team of friendly, respectful, detailed professionals, who collectively orchestrate a final product that is well above expectation. The price I paid was more than fair. In particular i would highlight Alberto and Victor for their attention to detail, but above all we would like to thank Idella for her patience and guidance throughout this process. We would highly recommend this company to anyone!
