Moving Condo to Condo

The movers were incredibly slow in packing and then made a wrong turn and charged me for the time. They moved less than quoted and in more time than quoted, avoid them.

supposedly moving

They showed up 1 hour and 45 minutes before the appointment timeframe and then left
complaining that there was no one there when they arrived.
The manager was extraordinarily rude, snyde and sarcastic.
When they finally showed up (still too early) again the following is what happened.
They refused to move anything that was not in a box.
They did not want to get dirty so they did not want to move the dusty upstairs items,
therefore they also refused to move the downstairs items which were clean.
They refused to move a box that did not have a lid on it even though the lids
were right there and could quickly have been put on the boxes.
The employees deliberately gave false information to the management about what could and could not have been moved saying that "nothing was in boxes".
There were 12 boxes with lids, clean, packed with items and ready to move. They did not move any boxes at all.
So lets recap this.
They did not move anything that was not in a box.
They did not move anything that was in a box.
They did not move anything that was dirty.
They did not move anything that was dusty.
They did not move anything that was clean.
They did not move anything.
THEY MOVED NOTHING. I WAS CHARGED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS AND THEY MOVED NOTHING.
Please keep in mind that the Pensacola office of two men and a truck is there to be served by Pensacola and take your money.
They are not there to serve Pensacola. Be sure to be sweet as pie to them when you speak
to them instead of being polite and direct or else they will go into hysterics, sarcastically calling you names and
telling you they have never been spoken to in a direct, polite manner and how terrible an experience your polite honesty is.
They are a twisted, crazy, rotten experience as well as being a hellacious waste of money.
I am unable to recommend the Pensacola office of two men and a truck, to put it directly and politely.

Moving to a new apartment

We hired Two Men and a Truck to move my mother into a retirement home. This is the 5th time that we have used them over the past 3 years and their service has always been excellent. They are reliable, courteous, and they really take care of your belongings. Kyle and Eric did an excellent job!

Move

Hired these guys to move my home. Movers worked hard but the way they bill you is a joke. A lot of time wasted and additional time added on to get to and from job site. Charged 45 to get to job site 10 mins away - an additional hr to get back.

Move across town

I had a terrible experience with two men and truck. I wouldn't recommend them.
My move had to be moved (circumstances outside my control) but there was a miscommunication. They ended up forcing 4 men and a truck on me - doubling my costs. They damaged my furniture and broke other items. I had huge issues communicating with management, who were not understanding at all.
I wouldn't recommend this service, no pride in their work and they certainly don't understand that they are in the service industry. Poor service, bad communication and many items were damaged or broken.

Worst move experience!!!

At the move destination, they put a prominent 10ft scratch in a brand new floor and refused to take the blame for it. Two of the three movers were yelling back at us, very confrontational. One of them said something to my 7 year old daughter that made her cry for a half hour, she was visibly shaken and scared. They didn't deliver two leg posts of our queen bed frame (I suspect they held this back spitefully) which have the brackets attached which are necessary to put the bed together: another words we no longer have a bed. We were moving from a condo to a townhouse and at the condo we asked them to move two pieces of heavy furniture to the condo garbage area for easy disposal. But they were good functional pieces of furniture (we just didn't have room for them at the new place) and offered it to the movers - two of them laid claim to them and loaded the pieces on the truck. When the relationship soured after the scratch was found early on during unloading, they dumped these two pieces in the middle of our garage and refused to take them away. We had no easy way of getting rid of them at the townhouse. I refused to sign the visa authorization until the franchise owner (they are on Kipling), Robert, came out to confirm that they would take care of the floor. The owner agreed on the phone and promised to take care of it in a couple of days. He never came but put the charge through my visa without my authorization. He didn't return my phone calls till I got head office involved but when he came he just started arguing. He finally agreed to have a floor expert he uses fix the floor and to look for the bed posts/brackets. Nothing happened and he didn't return my calls. Finally he told me he decided to 'deny' my claim for insurance and head office is now silent also. This is the most disreputable bunch of movers I have ever used (and I've moved a lot of times). Stay away.

moving and storage

I hired this company for storage and when i gave them the 48 hours, it took them a week to deliver back. they charged me 1600 between the move, storage and delivering my things. they were a total rip off and the people in the office were zero helpful and unempathetic as i kept calling them and they were just rude and unhelpful. I do not recomend them at all.

Moving

Best money I've ever spent. The two men who moved us were professional and very hard working. They moved our 2 bedroom apartment down 3 flights of stairs and into our new home. They went the extra mile upon delivery, carefully making sure boxes went into the proper rooms and that large pieces of furniture went where we wanted them. Would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Moving within Toronto

About 1 week before the scheduled move date I asked to split my move into 2 parts, and was told that the total cost would increase only slightly due to the extra travel time. The first part of the move went fine but in fact just the first part alone ended up being more expensive than the estimate for the entire job. Of course I wasn't happy with this and spoke to the sales manager Mike. Mike was understanding and we agreed to share the extra costs 50-50. Mike just had to speak to the franchise owner John to get approval.

However John refused to do anything to keep my happy, even though it was their decision to send 3 guys instead of 5, which they said was the reason for the 50% price increase.

I then spoke to John who blamed me entirely for the extra costs. He said I should know whether I needed 3 or 5 guys, and I should know how much furniture will fill a truck. I'm not a moving expert so there's no way I could know.

John called me back the next day to say he is cancelling the second half of the move.

I have never dealt with a business owner like John before. He refused to accept any responsibility for the decisions his staff made about our move, and clearly has no interest in customer satisfaction.

I am very unhappy with John and the Toronto franchise of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK and would never recommend them.

Moving from Apartment to House

The company was equipped to move my items. I didn't have much to move (only what was in my apartment), but they came and brought their tools for the furniture, and were on time arriving to my house and bringing it to my next. They charged a competitive price and I would go with them again!
