Tyee supplied our windows for our new home build. Ethan worked with us to create windows that we wanted while making it work in our budgets . The windows look great, they add SO much character to our home.

The service and product we have received from Tyee Windows (Ethan was our sales rep) has been exceptional. We are very particular consumers who look for exceptional value at economical prices and we found both at Tyee. We are building a custom home while trying to stay at spec house pricing. We had 3 window quotes which were all within 2% of each other. We chose Tyee as they had a higher quality product and provided a better warranty. Ethan was attentive, ontop of our order, and stood behind his word. I never felt as though I was getting a sales pitch. Ethan even arrived on site after the windows were installed to ensure the install was done correctly. I highly recommend Tyee Windows without hesitation.

We had Tyee replace all our windows (12) and sliding doors (2). The windows are very nice and the installers did a quick job finishing everything in one day.

After install we noticed a "wrinkle" in the glass and followed up. Within a week we had someone on site to replace the defective window unit.

Great service and the price was almost 1/2 of any other window replacement company.

We recently had 14 windows replaced by Tyee. Our overall experience with Tyee windows has been outstanding. The quality of the windows and the price could not be matched by any other company. Our windows were built and installed in the timeframe as promised. Gary was there to answer any questions we had and was very thorough with all his measurements. We got 3 quotes for the replacement of 8 windows in our house. Tyee's quote was FAR, FAR lower than the other 2 quotes we considered, so much so that we thought they must have an inferior product or amateur installation crew. I couldn't have been more wrong on both counts!!! From the samples we were shown, Tyee windows appeared comparable to the others on every level. The salesman, Gary , answered all the questions that we had, and assured us that they would be able to build and install the windows in a timely fashion, no more than 4 weeks. They were actually a week quicker than promised! The installation crew led by Larry, arrived on time, laid out protective mats throughout the house to protect the floor coverings, were very professional and installed all 8 windows very promptly, and cleaned up after themselves. But most importantly the installs look GREAT! The other 2 quotes we received were for over $7400 and $6300. Tyees quote came to just over $3200, taxes in. I would definitely recommend Tyee to friends and family.

We were participating in the government grant program of getting various things done to our house to increase the energy efficiency, and for which the government gives some money back for having done so. Our house had all single pane windows and non-energy star doors. My husband is a carpenter so was able to do the installation himself, thus we were looking for a company that could make the doors and windows for us, that we could install. A neighbour of ours recommended "Tyee Windows Mfg.", a local company in Abbotsford that make their own products. He had used the company for his windows and doors and had been very happy with them.

We contacted this company and they came to our home to see what we needed and to give us a quote. We originally needed 2 outside doors and 7 windows replaced. They gave a good quote and we liked their product so we went ahead with them. They produced everything we needed in the time they had named. The windows and doors looked very nice and were the energy-star level that we needed for the grant. They delivered everything and were very nice about bringing it into the house and putting everything where we wanted to have them.

We realized a short while later that we actually needed a 3rd energy-star rated door and ordered this from them. It was a lovely door with small blinds built right into the glass portion. The only problem is that we had wanted it to be the same energy-star as the others and this got missed. I had ordered it to be that way and somehow this did not get passed on to the final order that went to their factory. So, I had a beautiful door, but it was not energy-star rated.

When picking the window up I spotted that the invoice was for less than we had been quoted and that it did not state the energy-star level on it so I immediately brought it up to check and found that in fact it was not the energy-star rating that we had ordered. The gentleman that I was dealing with went over with us that he would get it remade for us if we wished, but that it would be the higher price (our original quote). My husband and I reviewed the increase in cost compared to what we would get back from the grant and decided it would not gain us anything financially and that with everything we had done to the house to save energy, it would not make much difference either. So we stayed with the door we had, have installed it and it looks beautiful.

So, due to the second order not being done correctly I have given this company a 9 instead of a 10. But, for the fact they handled it correctly (offering to take the door back and make me another) and also had great products overall, I did not give them lower than this 9.

I replaced all my Windows on my house and used tyee. They built great Windows. Very high quality and super energy efficient. The guys that installed them got it all done in one day. The Windows have metal locks not plastic like jeldwen.

Great service, very low cost and good quality. No one in the north can compete with these costs. I average about 60% savings using this company. I have to pay shipping costs to get these windows to Dawson Creek and still save at least half of local purchase costs.

It is important to our family to have a quiet automatic garage door. In the past, we had a very noisy one and it seemed to wake up the neighbourhood. We chose this company to upgrade and replace our garage door so it would open and close quietly. It was a great decision, as it opens and closes smoothly and quietly now. There was no problem with this company.
