Very efficient. They were here when promised. Answered all my questions. Did what they promised. Devon and Maurice did an amazing job with both removal of carpet on stairs, removal of all hardwood from builders of more than 25 years ago. the installation was amazing. Done in 6 hours. Installer recommended by The Hardwood Flooring Store.
Installation was never totally completed. New fridge damaged during installation as well as door frames. When installer returned to replace fridge door he left in a rage when I indicated to him that the installation job was incomplete and poorly done. Floor boards have separated in some areas.
My wife was diagnosed with cancer shortly after this so I was never able to do a follow up. I have now had the refrigerator door replaced and sent the bill to The Hardwood Flooring Store Burlington since it was on their
recommendation that we hire Mr. VanderHout

Terrible experience with VanderHout Flooring. The work looked professionally done but very early on we heard surface level popping and squeaking all over and worsened as the months went by. We had several different professionals in to assess the issue, the consensus was improper fasteners and installation. After several months of calling, emailing, texting to get a resolution we were given nothing but poor excuses and left high and dry. We ended up having to resolve the issue ourselves and hired a reputable company to remove and reinstall the same flooring correctly at our cost.

Maurice is an absolute delight to work with. Their outstanding installations are only enhanced by an absolute commitment to customer satisfaction. As a professional, I have found them to be wonderful to work with and would highly recommend them to any homeowner looking to install hardwood flooring.

We my girl friend had Maurice install new hardwood flooring through out the main level of the home. He was recommended by the hardwood flooring store in Burlington On. The floor was installed well but he left a huge mess and didn't finish the job. He also hid a mistake with some cheap trim. He also left his boxes and lunch mess outside and the raccoons ripped it all over the front lawn. From what I'm reading now on past reviews it seems to be common for this guy to not finish the job properly and also be prepared to spend hours cleaning up a huge mess left by him. Never again. Would not recommend

Hired to refinish floors in a newer home. Stain everywhere on walls and trim. Paid in full with a promise that the company owner would return to tighten railing (which he personally had removed) on staircase - he never came back. Repeated attempts to get him back failed - would never recommend this man or his company to anyone.
