Ant Problem

Pest & Animal Control review in Toronto

Originally, there was a misunderstanding with the company and I had provided comments that weren't necessarily fair to them company based upon the information I had at the time. With that being said, the owner contacted me quickly to give a detailed explanation about the ant issues I was having, and worked to remedy the situation quickly. I appreciated the call and the further explanation and the companies committment to standing behind their work even though the work was just outside of warranty.

I can honestly say I would feel comfortable with referring them to others as they turned a situation that was not necessarily the best, into a great customer service experience.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?

Hi Ed Thanks for this review ,Sometime we assume the things but at the end of the day i am glad i tried to address the situation the best possible way ,Thanks again for your review and understanding the real factors behind the assumptions,We love to provide you the services in future as well .I think at least you know we do the business not for the money only but customers and ethics is very important. Ant Problem

Pest & Animal Control review in Toronto

I had ant problems around my house and didn't get a chance to contact this company until late fall literally days before it became cold (not sure if ants went away because they were killed or if it was the cold) to conduct the service based upon the reviews on Homestar. The individual who came was nice enough, however the ants came back in the spring. I called the company back to inform them that the ants came back and do understand that there was a 6 month warranty that had just expired. Because ants (to my understanding) go away in the winter anyways), I think I originally should have waited until this year to rectify the situation, Anyhow, I thought that they would have done a complimentary spray just to rectify the situation as ants don't come out in the cold weather so I wouldn't know if their spray was originally effective or not.

However, they originally wanted full payment of 200 again, then after a bit of negotiation they said the lowest they could go was 150. In the end, I thought 100 was fair, but that offer was declined. So I then agreed to 150, but told them that I would provide reviews online if it didn't work out again and I paid for a service that wasn't effective. Once I mentioned this the individual told me that I should find another company. So based upon that information, I would be very worried to use this company and would not suggest anyone else use them either.

I did give them 1 star though because they seemed to be nice enough.
