Rudy is great to deal with. He (and the team) are very honest and therefore very trustworthy with their work. They did a wonderful job at a very good price. Rudy will adjust the work to ensure you are satisfied. He allows for questions and is more than willing to explain to ensure you (the customer) have an understanding of the work involved.

The work they performed was great! It really looks wonderful. The only blip was timing, took a while longer for the job to get started. You had to just be a patient customer and trust that you would be pleased once the work was completed, and I was.

It was a rough start. It took about 2 months for Rudy to come work on our chimney. Called several times and left vmessages. Sometimes wouldnt hear back. I was very close to calling in another company actually. However, one morning received a call and Rudy was available that day.
Once he got here though, have to say he did a nice job. The work involved grinding, new mortar and a new concrete cap. He explained things in detail when i had questions and stayed late to finish and clean the job which was very much appreciated. Rudy is very knowledgeable about his trade, workmanship is great and would recommend him. Other than the frustration early on of not knowing when the work would start, i was happy with the final product.

Rudy is a pleasure to work with and truly a dedicated professional contractor. The estimate provided for tuckpointing work for our house was professionally prepared, detailed, and reasonable. Rudy kept us informed of the start date. The job was completed in an efficient and professional manner by Rudy and Mike. The mortar matched perfectly with our brick. I asked Rudy to rebuild out chimney from the roof-line up. Our chimney is a twin stack, with one half servicing a gas furnace with a metal liner, the other half for a wood burning fireplace.

Rudy was responsive to my calls, provided information via email when I asked him, and had a great attitude. I got several other quotes for the job, and while many were from 'older' masons I felt comfortable that Rudy's commitment to doing exceptional work would make him a good choice. I was wrong, he was simply an outstanding choice.

Rudy took 2 days to complete the rebuild, he was careful with demolishing the chimney, and ensured no property damage occurred as the chimney came down. While taking down the old chimney and rebuilding the new one, he worked around the existing liner without removing or damaging it, and so avoided any replacement costs.

Rudy and his team were professional, accommodating, and courteous at all times while they worked on our house. Due to the weather earlier in the month we ended up scheduling the chimney rebuild on the same day we re-shingled the roof. Having two different companies on the roof at the same time, working around each other, could have been a problem, but Rudy's accommodating attitude made it easy and painless.

Rudy is dedicated, conscientious, and meticulous about his craft. Our chimney looks fantastic, and other than standing to perfection, you would never know that it was rebuilt, it is a perfect match to the house.

The brick under our front window was crumbling and we wanted to replace it with stone that matched the trim around the window. Rudy matched it perfectly. He also repaired the crumbling under the back door, which by the way, had been previously repaired by another company. Rudy was perhaps the best contractor I have dealt with in a very long time. His quote was very reasonable, he was on time, cleaned up so you wouldn't even know he was there and obviously takes pride in his workmanship. Rudy was courteous and on time. They did the job very professionally and cleaned up afterwards to the point where you did not know they were even there.
The chimney was really run down from weather wear and tear. Rudy and his team re built it by matching the brick colour and sealing it as if it was brand new. Glenwood provided excellent consulting and help me maximize the cosmetic beauty of the roof - I am sure my home value has increased because of their exceptional work.

We had some block repairs to be done and he did it fast and perfectly. We also had some roof leaks that could not be fixed till the spring and he kept the roofs cleared of snow so it would prevent further roof leaks.
