I cancelled as soon as I realized they cannot deliver on what they promised. For instance, they wouldnt put a sensor on a second storey window because their ladder couldnt reach, even though I have a tall enough ladder, Im expected to install that one myself if I want a sensor there. They asked me questions that they should know the answers to, like where to put the cameras. They told me I needed to purchase a monitor for $500, or I could use my own. Then when they came to install everything, they told me its impossible to use the monitor if in a separate room. This time they told me It has to be on my tv and I have to switch it back and forth to video mode to view it. They said now its impossible to set up a monitor in a different room so I asked to cancel and return everything. Mark got very upset and refused to accept my cancellation because he didnt like the reasons I provided above. It says in the contract that I can cancel within 10 days without a reason, yet they refused to refund me, they took money from my account after I cancelled in writing, and I have to go through the bank to get it back because they simply refuse. Although they did take back the equipment, they still wont give me a refund. Further to add, how unprofessional the sales person was commenting on my appearance and telling me men are unfaithful to their wives because they get bored. Extremely inappropriate, creepy comments from someone there to provide security.

We have been satisfied customers for over 15 years and recently decided to upgrade and modify our home system. Marc was very attentive and helpful in walking us through available options. The service date was booked in a surprisingly short time frame and our installer was simply spot on. His seemingly infinite patience and determination speaks volumes to me.

I have been a client for 18 years. They had screwed up emergency contact list while we were on vacation (they called a person from old list), which resulted in false alarm fines from Ottawa Police.

At present, their device stopped working. It was not working for about 4 days, but never got a call from them saying that they are not able to monitor!!!! When I called, I was given a che@t sheet to get it connected to the network, but it did not let me login. Called service again and was told it will be about $189 for someone to come and take a look. I told them the device is faulty and it should be replaced, but they were adamant.

I also have them at by business.

So, I have requested cancel both services. They require 30 days written notice to cancel, even though it is because of the faulty device.

They are very good, as long as the system works and you keep paying them for the monitoring.

Henderson security installed our alarm system back in 2006. For 15 years it was a very reliable service with no issues except for a couple of batteries over time. Today we had an upgrade done. Mark was a professional representative from Henderson. I made one call for the upgrade & a week later it was fully installed without any hitches. The installer technician installed everything in a short time. Myself being a phone technician, I checked out the inside of the alarm box & commented on a very neat layout of the wiring. I complimented the technician as you just don't see the quality & workmanship today. I'm sorry that I didn't get his name but I passed on my satisfaction to Mark. We are looking forward to another 15 plus years with The Henderson family.... Thank you!

My first contact with Henderson Security came at the most challenging time of my life. Within minutes of my initial conversations with the owner (Doug), sales rep (Mark) and technical team (Troy, Tyler), it was clear that they each understood my need to feel 100% safe and secure in my home. And they made it happen in such a short turnaround time. Their team was professional and patient, walking me through all steps from billing to installation. What struck me most about their team was their professionalism and kindness - they worked together seamlessly and efficiently, so much so that I have recommended them to friends and hired them again myself shortly thereafter when I moved and needed a new security system. What I feared was going to be a stressful experience turned out to be extremely smooth and supportive. Without a doubt - going with Henderson Security is money and time well spent.

Henderson were very professional to deal with from the very start. Understood my Client's requirements clearly and responded quickly with a reasonable estimate. Also were on point at any time and responded to my questions very quickly. A very professional organization who understands what customer service means to the core.

I've been with the company for almost 15 years. Overall, the service has been good. After a recent system 'trouble', the company agreed to replace an existing obsolete Paradox system with a current DSC system free of charge. The technician came on time and installed the DSC equipment; he was a pleasant and competent technician.
