My husband and I were pricing a complete house package to the tune of $40,000. Customer service the entire time wasn't professional. They sent the wrong specs to the builder, twice, and could not order products that other retailers could. Other retailers were also cheaper, threw in warranty, installation and delivery. Goemans did offer to price match but would not move on the other add-ons.
I was also hung up on when I confronted them about these issues and requested that my deposit be returned as a number of salesmen confirmed was possible before I have them the deposit. Now they tell me they won't refund anything and that's always been their policy despite numerous verbal confirmations to the contrary. In addition, nowhere on their receipts does it state that deposits are non refundable.
Our deposit was made over 8 months in advance of delivery.
