Richard was helpful, patient and very knowledgeable to deal with, when we confronted a multitude of choices in the storeroom. We got the floor that suits our room and budget and was done in very good time with all the mess cleaned up when they left. We'd recommend this company and this gentleman to anyone.

What a fantastic company to deal with from start to finish. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, punctual and efficient. The level of service from buying the product to having it installed was top notch.

Excellent customer service, punctual, fantastic quality. Mike was the one helped me find the wood I was looking for, gave me his best price. He didn't even ask for a deposit, after finishing the job, we were the one to chase him for payment. Honest and trustworthy. Highly recommended !!!!!

I shopped around for hardwood flooring. I just walked into their shop and ask for a price for a Vintage solid-sawn flooring in hickory. Randy gave me a price that is even cheaper than another shop that I almost select to do the work. This store is big and decent. Lots of displays. But they don't have the color that I want. Randy just went to the warehouse and get their only piece and gave it to me for free. Not even asked me to bring it back. With the level of trust, I came back and asked him to give me the best price he can. I didn't go any where else to match the price. I kind of trust him and want to do business with him. He gave me another surprise with a bit better pricing. It was a quick and clean deal. Everything is up front. Restocking fee and so on.
Then another surprise 3 days later. I suddenly remembered that I didn't double check the finish when I put the order. I remember I talked to him only when the first time I pick up the sample about a month ago. I was afraid of him forgetting it. They deal with many customers every day. I guessed he wont remember that since I want a low shine finish which is not the standard one. I called the store ASAP. A lady helped me to find my order and double check the finish. You know what, it is exactly the pearl finish that I want.
What else can I say? A nice store. A group of nice people with good system support. Very professional.

BTW, I am not hiring them to do the installation. It's a material purchase only.

We used Markham Flooring to purchase and install walnut hardwood on the main floor. Kim held our hand every step of the way. We were able to obtain the wood during the manufacture's promo and we're able to negotiate a reasonable price with Kim as well. The selection of products at Markham Flooring is unsurpassed. We were very impressed with the installation as well. Joseph is a craftsman. His work is meticulous and he works non stop to get the job done. He disbursed the varying colours of Walnut beautifully. His transitions to our tile were perfectly flush. The experience with Kim and Joseph was excellent and small issues were resolved immediately and professionally. I would gladly recommend my team at Markham Flooring. This store has a lot to offer.

Awesome, that’s how we feel today after the oak floor was laid by Eugene and his assistant from Markham Flooring. I tend to be a perfectionist and often am reluctant to hire people believing that only I can do the best job. Sebastian’s friendly and knowledgeable personality won me over! He convinced me that his installers could meet my expectations. When Eugene and his assistant appeared at my home they were very friendly and as a customer I became very relieved that my home would be treated like their own. Detail and perfection was a mandate that Eugene constantly pursued and he was never reluctant to make his workmanship 100%. Indeed he welcomed my presence and input on the job site. He encouraged another set of eyes to assist him in ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction. I was thoroughly impressed with their attention to detail around all of the kitchen cabinetry. Their workmanship far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend the Markham Flooring Team for those individuals seeking outstanding workmanship. Nice people. They make everything on time. They were very professional. The price was good compare to others. They charge 150 dollards for installation but it was worthy. No problem at all. It has been almost a year and still like new. I would recommend this company to friends and family. They have a lot of varity.

We had Markham flooring install mirage hardwood in our semi on the main floor and upper floors. When we visited their showroom we were impressed with the variety of choices/finishes they had available. The sub-contracted installers were on-time and professional. Markham is not the cheapest company, nor the most expensive. Although the installation was not perfect (there was residual dust, and the box trim could have been installed with a bit more attention to detail in some areas), I do not regret our choice to go with Markham flooring. The small issues we encountered were not too troublesome. And they offer a superior product (Mirage) at a very reasonable price.

The guys at markham flooring were very reasonable and flexible with my requests. They were on time and courteous. The job they did were not perfect but very good. Overall fairly satisfied.

Homestars has some great reviews of the top hardwood companies in GTA, however these top stores are great in person but because I believe they are so busy they do not give you the best prices upfront, takes a little bit of emailing haggling, etc.

However at Markham Flooring we got pretty decent prices originally and then it was further reduced, also they are authorized dealer for Mirage so we got the $10/box rebate as well. Richard was great on the phone and through email, so you can always catch him either way.

They use an external vendor for installs which was great, they installed a floating mirage lock in my 600 sq ft condo in 1 day, they even got the hardwood super close to my floor to ceiling windows, looks awesome! Only thing I can say is that they didn't have a vacum or any professional cleaning stuff to clean up after, there was a lot of dust and I was scared it was permanent however with own high powered vacum I got everything out and it looked amazing. Mirage is a great product.
