I am a new homeowner and needed to change my AC and furnace. I did my due diligence and spoke to close to 10 firms suggested on Homestars within my area before deciding on Spring Home. Based on my conversations with Cy, George the owner and other home owner referrals I felt most comfortable with them. They were not the cheapest, though very competitive. The initial quote was reasonable and we agreed on a price. Some of the other firms provided quotes considerably higher which turned me off right away.
The crew arrived on time and completed the job in a day. Though there was a bit of a language barrier, they were very knowledgeable when answering my questions, don’t cut corners and are willing to ensure the job is done right. They kept their work area clean, used drop cloths to walk through the house.
I felt very comfortable dealing with Cy. He’s a very calming presence but as well doesn’t push the higher priced items. He respects people have budgets and so he often presents alternatives which you might not be aware of. He was always available to chat if I had questions.
I also got them to change and discard of my old water heater and add a gas line to my barbecue. All that remains is installing my gas line to my kitchen stove once I have it in, but I suspect it to run smoothly.
After everything was installed, a technician came to my house in the winter to perform a efficiency test and provided some tips. I’ll be waiting for them to come next summer to do the same thing on my AC
