Furnace and A/C

Strange people. Bought a Lennox furnace and a/c in December of 2016. All was fine. Since installation, the system has let me down 5 times. Full a/c replacement the very first spring. The thermostat quit and the system couldn't be used. Induction motor in the furnace. Last year the a/c wouldn't cool and Kirkfield found the system had a loose fitting and recharged the system. Since they installed the system, I'm assuming the loose fitting was their fault. It was repaired to my satisfaction under warranty. This year, the A/C didn't work again. I called them and they sent a service guy within a week. I don't think they are very busy, so usually the response times are okay. When the service guy arrived, he stood on the front street talking on the phone about whether or not I should be covered under warranty for this call. When the guy comes around back, he mumbles as he walks past me that there would be no warranty. Apparently, I didn't have them clean the condenser coils one time a few years back. I wasn't happy and dismissed their guy as I didn't want to work with them on this.

I expressed my discontent to their office and they had Craig call me back. He was ignorant immediately telling me that I should learn to read fine print. I asked him to not talk to me that way and he continued blabbering about the fine print.

I had another Lennox dealer attend and they confirmed that my compressor was locked up, likely due to contamination in the lines after Kirkfield recharged it without evacuating the system. Thanks Kirkfield. In any case, I'm now on the hook for a new $2500 compressor after only 6 years or so.

To add insult to injury, they decided to fire me as a client. They said I was abusive to everyone. I was't polite, but my cameras recorded everything in the front and back of the house and I recorded my conversation with Craig, just in case. I asked for my prepaid service plan to be refunded, but I only received $20 of the $238. They sent a long winded, poorly written letter using big words to look smart. He isn't, trust me. He layed out several reasons why he was keeping my money and none were valid in my opinion.
