I needed to renovate a 30 year old townhome after a long term tenancy left the home in dire need of a lift. After contacting and speaking with a few contractors, I felt comfortable in choosing Azores because:
1- They listened to my needs, as opposed to selling me what was most convenient for them. While some flooring suppliers were eager to sell me pre-finished hardwood to replace whatever carpeting was left in the house, Azores suggested putting in unfinished planks and then staining to match existing hardwood for a clean seamless look.
2- One of the partners, Manny, personally came to survey the house, take measurements and gave a very detailed estimate, with the work itemized clearly, giving me the option of foregoing certain work, which I did not.
3- Started and finished on time, even slightly ahead of my expectations.
4- Communication was excellent with the office staff - Maria and Fatima were pleasures to deal with.

Azores is an exceptional company. They were extremely professional from the beginning when they booked a time to come and do an estimate through to the completion of the job. The installers are highly skilled and very professional - perfectionists at their craft. They are all friendly and were a pleasure to have in my home while working on this project. We are so pleased with the results. They have completely transformed the look of our home. I would recommend them (and have already) to friends and family.

They people at Azores Flooring were not only professional craftsmen, but they also understood the impact such a large project has on the home owner. They were very accomodating and respectful of our home and surroundings.

While under a very tight deadline, they came through with flying colors. Simply put, they know their trade and can handle any situation. The final product was a beautiful floor with a matching modern looking staircase.

Quality of the project was outstanding
Having just had my living room done by another installer, The quality of Azores was significantly better. The flooring was installed with perfection, flush mount vents which were hand cut and matched perfectly, the thresholds were manually cut for a smooth connection without requiring a quarter round (as had been done previously), extra work required to flush mount with tile which was done to perfection. Dealing with everyone, the installer, Maria and her husband, who both provided the recommendation on installing the floor on an angle as well as overseeing the project was wonderful. The installer was a perfectionist, and the final work showed. The price was only slightly higher than my living room installer's quote, but absolutely worth every penny. Would definitely go back for future projects.

Azores refinished our main floor and the floors of 2 upstairs bedrooms. They also removed existing hardwood from one part of the house and reinstalled it in an area of the dining room that was missing hardwood. They did an awesome job and I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience with this company. They did our hard floors and took a good amount of time and didn't rush the process. I was very pleased with the service and quality of the workers and company. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for new hardwood floors.

After months of searching for hardwood floor across the GTA we ended up picking Azores Hardwood Flooring; and what a choice it was. The finishes and install on the hardwood floor was great - never left big gaps between each board. Also color match to the stair case is bang on, well worth the money and great people to deal with! A++ service compared to other hardwood floor companies!

Wow... What can I say man!! It took me a while to get on here to put this review on, but these guys are simply amazing. The amount of detail and knowledge was outstanding. They made sure we were happy during every step. The new color is awesome and we have received so many compliments on the finishing job.

Wanted to thank Manny and Mary for everything and we will call you guys when we are ready to put hardwood down in the bedrooms.

I had dealt with them in 2002 in the same house. When a room was remodelled the oak flooring had to be replaced but must match up with the connecting floors they had done before. They spent an extra day matching the stain colour to get it just right. They also worked on the weekend so the job would be finished when my husband was released from the hospital.
But they went above and beyond what was required when a strip of the old floor cracked and they came back and repaired it at no charge to me.
The company has very professional, friendly and accomodating employees and I would recommend them to everyone.

We interviewed several flooring companies and were very impressed with Azores. Our floors in certain parts of the house were in terrible shape and likely on the last sand. As well, the hardwood in the treated area (stairs, upstairs, hall) was being refinished to match the colour in our living room. In addition, our home has radiant in-floor heating via copper pipes and it was clear Azores had the technical knowledge to ensure no damage was done to the heating system in the event we needed to replace any boards. We were very impressed by the detailed quote and contracted them for the job.

Azores price was competitive and they finished our floors and quarter-round in a week. From the team at our house to Maria in the office, the customer service was EXCEPTIONAL and the quality second to none. Azores went above and beyond what was expected of them (and for no additional charge). Our floors turned out beautifully and more than one person has asked if we installed new hardwood.

I cannot say enough about Azores. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with - upfront, knowledgeable, honest and competitively priced. The work product was exceptional and we are just thrilled.
