My parents needed their seasonal home winterized as they were going to be spending their first winter there due to the closed US border. Benmiller Construction was recommended to us for insulating the crawl space. They were very busy but still managed to schedule the work before the cold of winter set in. The crawl space was very difficult to work in but without complaint they got the job done with excellence and thoroughness. The final price was the same as the quoted price. What a difference the spray foam and the dirt liner has made to the temperature and draftiness of the home. My parents are cozy warm thanks to a job well done. Much appreciated Steve!

Fast but thorough work from Steve and his apprentice after a confidence-building consultation. They cleaned up any little mess ..: we were absent and when we returned : job done ! Happy to recommend.

Steve's company did an excellent job. They were efficient and knowledgeable offering suggestions as work progressed. Their equipment was 1st class and job appropriate. The work involved excavating down to the footings of our Florida room, replacing the drainage tile, re-coating the exterior walls, fixing a crack and applying a quality membrane. The follow up work involving back filling and grading was neat and tidy. Steve's initial quote was spot on and settled with a gentleman's handshake late last fall. Steve and his team completed crawl space work on our cottage. It was a difficult area to access but they were very helpful to complete the work without having to remove all of the flooring. Steve was very proactive to determine what needed to be done and to explain everything. Since we were not there in person, he sent us pictures of each step of the work that was completed. The pricing was very reasonable and they completed the work in a timely manner. The presence of mould in of our 100 year old family cottage had gotten to the point it was no longer a healthy environment. Steve inspected the basement, provided a detailed quote identifying what needed to be done to eradicate both the source of the water seepage into the basement, the removal of infected building materials and mould and options on how to re insulate the basement. Steve also provided expert advice on how to improve the overall air and insulation quality of cottage with improved insulation and a one-unit dehumidifier

After accepting the quote, Steve and his team of qualified workers began the job on time and completed the work when expected. The workmanship was superior and the work-site was always kept tidy and clean.

Steve and his team kept me informed of the progress of work and was more than happy and helpful in answering my ongoing questions. When the work was completed I was presented with a final invoice which was the agreed to quoted price. I could not have been happier.

Now knowing that my home is environmentally safe, dry and clean I can sleep more easily and feel comfortable entertaining family and friends and having them stay as overnight guest.

Steve spent a great deal of time with me explaining where the water was getting into the basement, the damage that had been caused and what steps need to be taken to totally eradicate the problem.

He provided a detailed quote, separating out what absolutely needed to be done and a list of additional upgrades to improve the overall insulation of the cottage and the installation of a one unit dehumidifier that would service the entire cottage.

The job was completed on time (during the busy Christmas Holiday Season) and on budget. Not only was Steve professional and reliable, he and his workers ensured that the worksite was always clean and tidy during the the time when the work was being done, it was spotless when the job was completed.

Now that he is finished, the cottage is warm comfortable and dry. I can now sleep more easily now the cottage is mould-free and with the knowledge that my home is a clean healthy environment for my family and friends to come and visit.
