If anyone would be happy to have their basement floor dug up, that would be me. You worry about the noise and dust and confusion and nurse along your sick sewer lateral for years with periodic ream-outs, knowing that sooner or later one has to face reality. Along comes Len of Plugged Piper on referral from another plumbing company and provided an excellent diagnosis of the problem and what it was going to take to make it right. We discussed the specifics, he answered all my concerns, and subsequently provided a reasonable and accurate quote to do the work.. His crew showed up on the day and on time to cut the concrete and fix up the broken 75-year-old lateral and the second crew came in with a tonne of equipment, hauled it down to the basement, and installed the liner. Both crews were pleasant, gentlemanly, and applied themselves assiduously. It was a pleasure to have them in our home. The job was completed as specified and quoted, the site was left immaculately clean, and afterward one would never know that they'd been here to undertake such a major task. Now we are good to go for the next x-thousand years, never have to worry about it and it will be in tiptop shape when or if we put the house up for sale (which we're not).
