Work Completed May 2017 - Full shingle replacement and Flat Roof and Dormer Roof replacements

My moms roof was in desperate need of repair. Reviewed a handful of companies but John came by and took his time reviewing the property and explaining the entire process that would be involved. There was no high pressure sales tactics used and John was very personable and professional. He provided ample amounts of information regarding his business, insurance / wsib coverage, materials used, which as a potential customer puts you at ease to know his business is legitimate. I also noticed the good ratings on Home Stars and no outstanding issues with the BBB.

His team worked hard over the 3 days and cleaned everything and finished the job completely as promised.

I would highly recommend using John's company to anyone. The work does come with a multiyear warranty and a hard working team.

John did a very thorough inspection of our roof(both shingled and flat)--he took pictures of the problem areas (which he sent to us)and then both explained in person and through email, what needed to be done. A few weeks later, his crew arrived to replaced the shingled roof and did a great job! We often get compliments from our neighbors.We haven't had any issues since they replaced the shingled roof nearly 8 months ago. His crew also were extremely tidy and I couldn't even tell that they were there when they were done the job. I will definitely use J Stewart roofing again when we repair our flat roof and recommend him often to friends.

Great roofer, knows shingle and flat roof installation well. Flashing perfect. Site cleanup perfect (nail-free). Roofs have proven durable (over 10 years in one case), survived heavy winds rains, no leaks. Good bet for quality roof!

We live in a semi-detached house with a sloped roof in the front and a flat roof in the back. We hired them to replace the sloped roof, which included removal of the original 100 year-old cedar shingles and 2 or 3 other layers of shingles. They were professional and easy to work with (and boy did they work hard)! They also did an excellent job of cleaning up.

This is the second time I've had J. Stewart Roofing do my roof and I've been pleased with the workmanship both times. They are pleasant to work with and will show up promptly for emergency repairs. The clean up was well done also.

They gave me a quote in the late fall for a new roof, did two small repairs through the winter then came this spring for the full repair. Great company, incredibly responsive, highly recommend.
