Allan, thank you for taking the time to do your review. We appreciate all reviews. It is regretful your total experience wasn't to your overall satisfaction. I would like to address a couple of your comments to eliminate any possible misunderstanding. When you booked your service we did say we will take cash but we still required a credit card pre-authorization in the event the cash payment wasn't available as in this case the cash wasn't available and you were not at home as you requested your key be left at Unit 7 when the cleaning was completed. Your quote of $238 to $357 (approx. 4 to 6 hours) is based on the information provided at time of booking. When our cleaning crew arrived they contacted the office after 1 hour 20 minutes (per person which is 2 hours 40 minutes of cleaning) to say further time will be required to complete the home. The office contacted you and you didn't wish to pay for further time, you advised them to bypass a couple of rooms. The team then worked the remainder of the allotted 4 hours left an outline for you on the cleaning and a receipt. Your credit card was charged the next day as there was no other form of payment available. Albeit, there wasn't enough time to complete everything however, we do stand behind our work and our crew never should have started cleaning a room without completing it even if they run out of time. That is why we gave back 15% of your bill. I acknowledge your frustration and it is regretful as we do expect our cleaning services to make a positive change to people's lives. I will see should you wish to book our services again in the future there will be a $25.00 gift card assigned to your account.
Kim, we take our customers concerns very seriously and yet I am having a difficult time trying to understand your complaint. (I note Kim is not listed on our documents as it was a Gary who booked, signed off and made the complaint 6 days later, yet I will respond to the comments) Especially when you called the office 6 days after your cleaning and you didn't request a re-clean just a credit. We are not bio-hazard specialists we are residential cleaners and in most cases we can tackle any type of cleaning job with great success. You did do a walk-through with our team supervisor and you did sign off on our job completion check list. Your home has considerable mold and mouse droppings throughout and both these items are a bio-hazard. We did advise you due to the condition and age of your home we required additional man hours to get it completed however, you would only approve 2 hours. As stated, we are a residential cleaning company not magicians. I wish to remind you as you were informed when you booked your cleaning, our cleaning products are environmentally safe and biodegradable and clear. We don't use Blue products that would stain. I question your motives here and your credibility as unbeknownst to you, in very poor conditions our staff take before and after pictures. One picture they took is your refrigerator/freezer which you so kindly posted to use as an example of poor cleaning. I will defer my comments on the cleaning quality prior to Dust Queen coming in to clean your home. Due to age and lack of maintenance this home was very difficult t0 clean. Built in 1960 this home still has the original linoleum on the floors, there are marks that cannot be removed, water stains in the kitchen and bathrooms in fixtures that should be replaced. Mold embedded in walls at the baseboard level and carpets so filthy it would be highly recommended they be replaced. At the end of the day our staff did an excellent job and this feeling was conveyed by Gary who ordered the cleaning.
