Marshall Roofing Ltd

Marshall roofing installed the roof of my five year old house. This winter I started loosing a significant number of shingles, and when I got onto the roof I found the situation shown in the photograph. When I approached Marshall Roofing to repair their shoddy work they claimed it was not covered due to being wind damage. None of the other roofs in my neighborhood experienced such damage, which indicates that Marshall's installation was substandard. Furthermore, when I did call to determine if they would repair the damage they took so long to get back to me that I almost missed the opportunity to repair the damage due to the inevitable snowfall. The final insult to the injury was that Marshall Roofing attempted to charge me $250 for the privilege of repairing their shoddy work.

The take home message is: If Marshall Roofing installed the roof on your new home, find the time to inspect it because they don't do high quality work.

The person that did the quote went out of his way to come to my work for a signature on the paperwork. They started on a Friday, ensured that the roof was closed up for the weekend, returned on Monday and completed the roof. They did a great job, looks very good. Clean up was thorough. Would recommend them to others. The new financing company they use has very reasonable rates.

Very professional. Brought samples to choose from and walked around the home to indicate where they would put supplies needed. They were done in no time. Efficient, fair priced, quality work!

Had previously used Marshall Roofing for House in St Albert so when current house needed work we obtained estimate from them and from Another well known roofing company. Both have a good rating from the BBB and have been in business for a long time. Marshal's crew were as quick as the weather and safety allowed and left the yard in spotless condition. The crew was hard working, efficient and courteous and went well beyond the contract by doing a couple of other small jobs while up there that were not strictly required. Most importantly, the final bill for exactly the same shingles and optional materials as Alfs was $4,000 less, I could not believe the difference in cost.

This company did an excellent job! We would highly recommend them. They were done in a timely fashion. We like it. They are very efficient. they cleaned up really well before they left.

Not professional.
They gave us the run around when their crew didn't show up when they were supposed to. Then we spent the rest of the days that they were here trying to track them down as they were continually going on "break". Usually there were two guys at most on the roof at any given time.
They left a mess,,,shingles, nails and cigarette butts.
They did not put ice shield on one part of the roof.
They left a hole uncovered where a pipe enters the roof.
Given the the lack of professionalism, we are concerned about the workmanship. I guess only time will tell.
They said they sent their best crew.....

When I addressed this with the company, no one got back to me.

We bought our shingles from and hired Marshall roofing to re-shingle our roof and the shingles started to curl after 2 yrs. They wouldn't stand back of their product they were selling.

We built a new garage last year and Marshall Roofing shingled our garage roof. They were very professional and fast. They cleaned up the work area and we will get them to come and reshingle our hourse this summer.
