Groundworks Construction Ltd

I recently decided that I wanted to clean up all the garden patch I have in the back yard. The whole thing was getting overgrown with weeds and other plants and I just didn't have the time to maintain it. Instead of plants and vegetables, I decided that I was going to lay landscape fabric over it and then cover the whole thing with either rocks or mulch, something low maintenance so I wouldn't have to worry about it for years. My neighbor used to be a contractor and he told me that rocks would be more expensive, but that they would last longer over time. He told me not to go to a big box store, but to go to Groundworks Construction, which is right by where we live and go there to pick up the rocks. I thought that I would end up having to spend a lot on te rocks, but the guy told me it would be $55 per cubic yard and that would include delivery. I'm not sure if this was a really good deal though because I didn't actually shop aound for a better price. Because I lived so close, they told me I could just call them the morning of when I wanted my rocks delivered and they would bring them within an hour or two. The next morning, I had a bit more work to do in the garden (I still had to lay the landscaping fabric before the rocks could be delivered). When I was done, I called Groundworks and told them I was ready for delivery. Within maybe 45minutes, the guy showed up with his truck and asked me where I wanted him to dump the rocks. Awesome service, if i ever end up getting rid of my front lawn and redoing it in stones, I would definitely use Groundworks again.
