Ideal Insulation & Roofing

We purchased a fifty year old house in Calgary and quickly realized just by looking at it that the attic insulation was inadequate (it was original wood chips, the vapour barrier was not in tact, and the vents for the bathroom fans and range hood were not to code). So we made calls to a few companies and had representatives from each come to our home to investigate it further. The best company by far was IDEAL Insulation and Roofing. Mike from IDEAL promptly came to our home and did a thorough examination of what what needed to be done to insulate our garage and interior attic including removing old insulation and supplying new, putting vapour barrier where it was missing and repairing/taping what was there, air venting the attic, supplying new roof vents for fans, skylight insulation and back pan etc. The prices were very competitive and the systematic organization of the work was amazing. I cannot stress how professional this company is. Mike arranged the trades, which were many, to our home to complete the various aspects of the work required and came regularly to check the progress. Dan, an insulation supervisor from IDEAL also came to our home each day to check the work while in progress and the work when it was completed. What a fantastic company! We highly recommend IDEAL to anyone who needs insulation or roofing. You won’t be disappointed. And if you have an older home, maybe let them come out and look to see the state of your home.
