Anderson's Consumers Blacktop Concrete & Interlock

Terrible would not recommend this so called company .worst experience ever , treated with little respect by mr. Anderson. While workers were prepping my driveway a couple of workers decided to urinate at the side of my house (as pointed out by my neighbors) even though I ensured them that they could use my bathroom anytime.once asphalt was put down, their rolling machine stalled several times due to worker putting something other than gasoline in tank , finally when at end of driveway they had to drain whatever was in tank and used my gas to finish rolling.once they were done and gone there remained two dips in driveway, had reached out to mr Anderson but just getting excuses as to when he’s going to fix driveway this has been ongoing for a month after job was done . So don’t use this company .

This was the worst experience I've had with any contractor. he laid down my interlock and the grade was off from the beginning, the stones all shifted and dips everywhere. After two years and hundreds of phone calls to get them to fix it I finally gave up.
Do not hire this company!

Would not recommend, cement cracked, steps cracked, will not return calls. Has promised on 4 different occasions to come fix and never shows up. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, call someone else

The work took a long time to complete, over 14 weeks. He guaranteed 3 weeks. They did 6 other jobs after starting mine. Can't trust Mr. Anderson. He is a smooth salesman, but does not do what he promises. A very poor job. His base was 6" for the driveway and 4" for the patio, half the base he promised. Also, he used screenings which has no strength so the driveway has many dips and wheel tracks. My driveway has sunk by 5 inches. My patio holds water as the edges are higher than the centre. He also wanted to be paid before the job was complete. They left a big mess and did not finish the job. I would not use them ever again, nor can I recommend them. Best to use an honest, reliable contractor.

The work was completed in a timely fashion near the end of the summer. The workers were neat and courteous as was Mr. Anderson. I am very pleased with the work that he did and I have had many complements as well.

Mr. Anderson is very nice initially but after he starts the job he changes things and you end up getting what he wants to do which is always cheaper for him. His estimate which he calls a contract once work starts is written with little detail purposely. You end up with many disagreements. The customer is not important to him just saving himself a thousand dollars, We were very disappointed in the unfinished work and the mess he left behind. Very poor workmanship. Poor base, many dips. His warranty is worthless. Not very honest as he didn't give us what he promised. We can't recommend them and suggest going elsewhere.

A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
He gives you an Estimate and does not take any money upfront but watch out has he says his estimate becomes a contract. Make sure you write a good “detailed” Contract with a lawyer. He substitutes inferior screenings, not crushed stone, only 4 or 5 inches, very soft and spongy. Wheel tracks appear on driveway within a year. Does not warranty his work even though he says he does, just can't get him to fix anything. Ends up in shouting matches. What a NIGHTMARE! You get very shoddy work. He also takes 6-8 weeks to do the job. Your yard will be a mess, lots of damage. BEWARE... USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
