Low capacity furnace size was installed in my home.
I moved into a Daytona Home in September 2021. I realized the house is unusually cold. When I got the furnace checked, I found out that a 30,000 BTU furnace was installed for a 1377Sqft house in Edmonton instead of 80,000BTU. Because the capacity of the furnace is low, it could not heat of the house adequately even after increasing the temperature. I was told this will run up my energy bill and the furnace will pack up soon. Besides, winter is drawing close and I am afraid I may freeze up in my own home.I have tried reaching out to Daytona warranty and no one is getting back to me. I dropped a voice message for the warranty coordinator who called back but hung up as soon as he heard my voice. When I called him back immediately, he cut the line on the second ring.
I am scared to think about how cold it is going to get in my house when the temperature hits double digit negative. Installing a low capacity furnace is a rather cruel act.
