We are sorry that you feel this way about your purchase through us. The Carpet Palace prides itself on its customer service and in creating a great overall experience for each and every customer. Our return policy functions compatibly with our pricing strategy--we are able to have such great pricing on our products due to our low margins used to create high value for our customers--far below the suggested retail pricing, without the massive incurred cost on returns of special-ordered products. On special-ordered products (such as yours was) we are unable to take boxes back especially since it has been around 5 months since the order was placed and picked up. We can often make exceptions if the product is returned within 2-3 weeks, however the time frame of 5-6 months is too large. Furthermore, after such a long period of time we cannot know how the product was stored and treated and therefore it would be unfair for us to resell your product to other consumers due to the fact that we cannot make ourselves liable for a product that may or may not have been treated correctly. We sincerely hope you understand this situation and we do hope that you are happy overall with your new floor and that you will allow us regain your confidence in us in the future.
