If you're going to buy a new house (and spend a seemingly absurd amount on it), you want to be sure there are no surprises. Yuri came recommended by our realtor, and we can see why. He's very methodical, thorough and complete.
We paid extra for the IR camera pictures and I'm glad we did. As the house was recently renovated, there would've been ample opportunity to "hide" some flaws - the IR gave us confidence that we wouldn't have any nasty gotchas...
When pushed for a final verdict at the end: "yes, the house is good - except for those things that are not good" :)
(thankfully his report is FAR more complete...)
