Firstly I bought a fridge from them in 2020 which I found out was more expensive than a brand new same model from another store, and Im talking final price installed delivered everything. Im now price checking a washer dryer so stopped in to their store just out of curiosity and can confirm they are more expensive again comparing their same model that is a scratch and dent with another local appliance store selling brand new, delivered and installed. I just don't get it why are they still in business? are people not shopping around thats gotta be the answer !

Bought an over-the-range microwave in January and recently a washer/dryer. The sales support and advice was excellent and final price unbeatable.
These upper brand name appliances were scratch and dent (cosmetic) and in locations that were not at all noticeable. Questions challenging appliance functionality and brand history were answered promptly and to my satisfaction. The difference between their scratch and dent and their reconditioned appliances was explained.
I have no reservations in recommending Bowest. Ask for Brent!

I bought 3 fridges and 2 dishwashers. Scratch and dent.

ALL of them failed after 2 years.

So there obviously was more damage then dents.

Company simply does not care.. oh well so sad is the response

Got a Lemon for a fridge, Bowest does not care.. because out of warranty it was too bad so sad..

NEVER use them and judging from the reviews I should have came here first.

I would strongly tell people to stay away from Bowest appliances. They sold and delivered a stove that was defective. They delivered and installed the appliance so there was no negligence on my part. The VERY FIRST time that I tried the cook top, it didn’t work. I would have tried it while their service guys were there but I was told to wait as the appliance needed to reach room temperature to avoid cracking the appliance. Anyways, DESPITE the fact that their website claims that you can purchase dependable thoroughly tested appliances that you can buy with confidence, they WILL NOT come and pick up the appliance that they sold which doesn’t work. I am forced to go through the manufacturer. Buying at any other store or even through kijiji is far more dependable. Any other store would exchange a faulty appliance or deal with the manufacturer!!! Do not expect this from bowest! If you want an appliance that doesn’t work then check out bowest or better yet, just go to the dump.

"TOO BUSY TO ACTUALLY CARE OR CARRY THROUGH -- NOT SURE?" I decided to try Bowwest Appliances (stupidly before black Friday), drove to Bow Trail location where I met a fabulous sales manager named Casey -- talk about service! Smart, to the point, organized and efficient -- I left feeling like my new washer and dryer quest was at an end. But, it was the BEGINNING OF A MIGRAINE HEADACHE. If Casey knew how bad her delivery company was I think she'd probably quit (SIGH). Make sure YOU ASK THEM WHO IS DELIVERING THE APPLIANCES. If it's Taylor from 'Big V and V Holdings' your in for a 'V'ERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE AND YOU MAY NOT EVEN GET YOUR APPLIANCES DELIVERED OR INSTALLED. The delivery company was on time, brought the appliances to the second floor and then said that because the laundry room wasn't completely cleaned out and a couch was blocking the hallway by a few inches he couldn't take out the old appliances and install the new ones. It took my tenant 4 minutes to clean out the laundry room, but by then Taylor was loaded back into his truck and leaving ***WHEN I CALLED HIM HE SAID (the kiss of death in sales btw) "IM TOO BUSY TO DO THIS INSTALL, WE HAVE TOO MANY ORDERS TO COMPLETE TODAY" -- he never offered to come back later, and rightly so got into a heated argument with my tenant. I would have argued as well to be fair. I NEVER DID GET THE WASHER AND DRYER AND 'HELPED' BOWWEST BY CANCELLING MY BUSINESS. Wouldn't want them to get too busy in a recession.

Bought a washer dryer set at half the price of a new set.
Staff was fine, washer dryer worked fine for 15 months, however, The warranty is for 1 year. Both units broke down within a week of each other.

Maybe I bought a bad set. What I do know is if I bought new right away I would have a working washer/dryer for another 6-8 years.
My own fault I guess. I should have never bought from bowest appliances.

This is a tough review as we experienced both good and bad in our experience with them. First the bad, we purchased a brand new Amana dryer from them and paid for delivery and removal of the old dryer. When they brought the new dryer, the movers were very friendly and helpful but the first load we put in to dry there was no heat from the dryer at all. We called the store and they told us that we would have to call the warranty # for the repair. I was totally flabbergasted. This new dryer had been in our home for 2 hrs total and it didn't work. Buyer beware, my receipt said FINAL SALE - NO REFUNDS - NO RETURNS. Now the good part of this company, the owner, Eugene called us back and said that he would take a look at our dryer that was replaced and see what the problem was. He called back the next day and the repair had been completed. He said the dryer we had replaced was the better dryer and that he would personally return it to us and remove the Amana dryer. He came the next day and replaced the plug on our wall and re-installed our original front load dryer. He went over and above to provide excellent customer service to us. It was much appreciated.

We purchased slightly scratched, new Kenmore and Frigidaire appliances from these guys. They sell new (but slightly cosmetically worn) and refurbished appliances at discounted prices. Our fridge had a small dent in it that wouldn't really be seen and there were scratches on the silver part of the range. We had issues with our Kenmore range this year (convection oven was broken) and they sent a repair guy out the next week to fix it as the appliances are under a 1 year warranty through them. Great service was proviced for the repairs and we are very happy with them!
