they will trap you with a contract for their over price installation and equipment charges, worst customer service, faulty equipment.
the owner is a bad bad person.
don't make the mistake I did, go with a big company.

LVS Security it the most reliable, dependable and cost effective alarm company period. For over 11 years at The Soho Condos--LVS who provided the original system also provides monitoring services for our fire alarm, panic buttons, elevators and management office. They also provided our security camera system and upgrades which is state of the art.

I am living in my 3rd home protected by LVS Inc. When I acquired this property I called LVS to take over the monitoring of the existing system as I had been a client for 15 years. Since that time I have been very pleased with the operation of the system and the pricing for the monitoring. Recently I called LVS to add an additional panic button to the system as my mother was feeling vulnerable when she was alone in the home. I was quoted $200.00 plus HST for time and material. The technician arrived later that day, did the work, tested the panic button with the monitoring station and trained my mother on how to use it. The response time exceeded my expectations, the work was done very professionally, the technician cleaned up after himself and even wore boot covers to protect my flooring from his safety boots. There was no hidden extras in the job, it was billed as quoted. Being in the service industry myself I would say with some authority that LVS “gets it”. Terrific value for my money and a best in class service offering from LVS. I would unconditionally recommend them without hesitation.

I have been using LVS Security services for over 10 years. A few months ago I’ve renovated my house and used LVS to make changes and rewire some parts of my alarm system. I am very happy with the service I’ve received. Yoram and his staff provided me with excellent customer service. I had the same professional and caring technician (David) throughout the project. LVS, Yoram, David and Deborah (technical and customer service) accommodated my needs. They were flexible with their timeline and worked in coordination with other contractors. I remember a stressful Friday where the main contractor I’ve used completed the work faster than the timeline provided. The next Monday walls were supposed to be constructed. I called LVS and spoke to Yoram. I told him that things were completed faster than planned and that the LVS technician would have a hard time wiring the alarm system once the walls are up. A few minutes after contacting the company I got a phone call telling me that David will be coming to wire the system during the weekend and their job will be done before Monday morning.
The company’s weakest link was the “Monitoring Service”. Whenever we had a false alarm due to an error with one of my family members, I thought it took the monitoring service too much time to contact me. I’ve called LVS and expressed my dissatisfaction with the monitoring service. Last Monday was the last time one of my kids accidentally set off the alarm system. I am happy to report that the monitoring service managed to call me within less than a minute. I am not sure if LVS has a new monitoring service supplier; however I believe that my concern was addressed.
This is a high end company that uses reliable equipment. They are not cheap and I can understand the reason for their prices, they do not cut corners. LVS makes me feel safe and provides me with the confidence that my property is protected.

Negligently installed system. Numerous false alarms, huge time-waster. Took months to fix the errors which involved a failure to anticipate that a simple mail delivery through the slot would trigger the glass break. Smoke alarm constantly triggered at low threshold, could not fix. Main unit failed right after warranty expired, charged exorbitantly to fix defective equipment. Then were nothing short of rapacious and rude (Yoram and Bev) in demanding payment of their coercive bill, and refused to accept notices of cancellation. Now we're in court. DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

LVS is worst unethical unprofessional company we have seen in security industry.
Avoid!

We are 26 year old company who signed up with 3 year contract in 2012 with LVS for total cost of $3600.00 excluding police service. Yes it was a rip off! they install a very low end analog system with no automatic notification. During the installation were told that after the 3 year contract, every hardware will be our property except the GSM unit. When we wanted to cancel the service after three years the LVS wanted to remove all the sensors and the contact including all the wiring saying even the wire is belongs to them. We agreed to return the panel and keypad they want to rip off the wires saying it belongs to them. This behavior implies the class of the company and how low his employees are paid to demolish the wires so their unhappy customers can not easily move to other alarm companies. It is purely a revenge action for cancelling their service even after the contract. We have renewed our service with another company with digital alarm system with free installation with total 3 year cost of monitoring for 1250.00. They offered email and SMS notification and life person alert within seconds. LVS has their own (may be home based) monitoring with at least 30-45 minutes delayed alert every incidents and I noticed only same two person spoke to us in all incidents. if you need more info or authenticate this story please email ravilink@yahoo.com

THE SERVICE IS GOOD FROM DAY TO DAY. I WOULD SAY THAT THEY ARE COMPARABLE TO ANY OTHER ALARM COMPANY. BUT IF YOU EVER HAVE AN ISSUE RE: BILLING AND NEED TO DEAL WITH BEVERLEY, SHE IS EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! I THINK SHE NEEDS TO TAKE A LESSON IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.

ALSO, PLEASE BEWARE AS LVS BILLS ITS CUSTOMERS FOR A FULL HOUR OF SERVICE, EVEN IF A TECHNICIAN COMES OUT FOR 5 MINUTES! BEFORE YOU CALL LVS TO HAVE A TECHNICIAN COME OUT, MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE PRICING AS THEY WON'T VOLUNTEER THE INFORMATION TO YOU BEFORE SENDING OUT A TECHNICIAN WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM.
