Durabuilt Windows & Doors

Our story begins in August 2012. We have had problems with 5windows and 2 sets of garden doors. Durabuilt is planning on replacing our windows and doors and it is 3.5 years since we purchased the products.

Durabuilt is the worse company we have every dealt with. We spent $40,000 on windows and doors from Durabuilt and regret ever making the decision to purchase product from this company. We never had a rep who was supposed to review the terms of the warranty with us. They are pretty smarmy and delay service calls on their terrible products and work. Their service department surprisingly can't seem to keep consistent staff and your file will certainly disappear just to make sure the delays work in their favour. The delays will lead you past the 2 year first portion of the warranty so then you have to pay for labor for the remaining 3 years of warranty work. In our case they wanted 1000.00 for labor costs. You have to pay this cost up front and you have no choice but to pay Durabuilt in order to get any warranty work done. They have a history of no shows so if you pay for labor costs you may be out your money. Basically your hands are tied if you need any warranty work done. The quality of their work is very questionable and their products, particularly the garden doors, are awful. Stay away from this company.
