Having made the decision to build a home, we met with several reputable builders of high quality new homes. Once we met with Dan Royer, his enthusiasm for the community and the design/construction process made the decision to settle in Beaumont and build with Royer Homes an easy one.
Royer Homes had a subdivision lot that met all of our very specific needs and we began the adventure. They turned our ideas and a sketch into blueprints and we now live in a luxurious custom built home that felt comfortable from the moment we set our furniture down. During each stage of the process we had our own expert to guide us through, listen to concerns and incorporate our ideas to achieve our desired result. Changes and additions during the build process were met with enthusiasm; these people really enjoy building one-of-a-kind homes. We did more than choose colours for the walls; every small detail of the home we either selected in advance or approved of in the course of walkthroughs and meetings – no wonder it feels like home.
We showed up in Dan’s office with three lists and a budget. We had a ‘Must Have’ list, a ‘Nice to Have’ list and a ‘Wildest Dream’ list. Royer Homes managed to hit everything on all three lists and respect the budget we had to work with. We even have several features that were not on any preconceived list because they are part of Royer Homes’ very high standard. Dan and Dennis Royer were very open and honest about timelines and never once over promised and under delivered.
Once we were moved in our relationship began with Alan, who would take care of any issues that popped up. Without exception, phone calls were returned within minutes and issues dealt with promptly. It is a great feeling to be able to go to work and know that everything will be ok on the home front. We took possession of our home just before Christmas in 2013 and to this day the people at Royer Homes hold our satisfaction as the most important factor in our dealings.
I am sure that there are other great builders out there, but I can bet that you won’t be sitting on your front porch having coffee with the president of the company a year after you move in; just to chat and make sure you are as happy as you can possibly be. That is the kind of company they are.
If we ever to build another home in the future, Royer Homes will be our first call.
