I would like to share my horrible experience with Mobilia in Markham that is still unresolved. I have placed an order for a 2-piece sectional back in July 2008. This couch arrived on the 3rd week of DECEMBER after 2 no-show pre-booked deliveries. When I contacted the store, they pointed their finger to the warehouse people. No one took any accountability. One of the piece was also damaged, the fabric was torn and punctured in 2 places. Customer service agreed to have it replaced. March 2009, I received the replacement piece only to find out that it was in the WRONG colour. When I contacted customer service, I was told that the sectional has been DISCONTINUED. I have to now look for a replacement couch altogether (which could drag on for another year based on this experience) or have the fabric patched. I had already purchased an area rug and a coffee table to match and fit the couch. So, based on someone's mistake, and after waiting for 9 months, I still don't have a proper sectional, and I have to go through the entire ordeal again - assuming that I will find something that will fit the other furnitures that I have already purchased. I strongly urge you to STAY AWAY from this store. The store owner, Kevin, does not address anything and there is no linkage between the sales people and the warehouse. I had to call the warehouse myself, take pictures of the damaged sectional, chase after the delivery guys. My mistake was that I have placed other orders with this store previously, and the issues with no-show deliveries and parts missing from the furnitures had not been uncommon, but because I liked the quality and design, I went back there, giving them another chance. I am still paying for this terrible mistake. Don't make the same mistake.
