I've had an distinctly negative experience for over two weeks with Clearview about a plugged drain. DO NOT call this company to clear your sewer, especially if you are a landlord.
In summary, Clearview sent out three plumbers, one of whom did nothing and left with no explanation. They did not fix my plugged sewer problem even though their website and plumbers assured me their work was guaranteed. The website proclaims in large bold letters, "Fixed right or it's free". Their online policy states, "Our policy is to leave the customer satisfied. We guarantee that it's fixed right or its free."
They made multiple excuses about why some appointments were not kept. They made multiple excuses about why calls were lost and plumbers did not come out when they said they would. When they finally just couldn't fix the problem, they made multiple excuses about why they could not refund my money. They are good at making apologies but not acting to correct the problems. They also seemed to be very eager to cover their backside about the stains on my basement ceiling which occurred after they started working on my sewer drain.
After almost two weeks of trying to get my sewer cleared, and failing to show after multiple promises, I finally called another company who came out and fixed the problem in short, efficient order. I still have a damaged ceiling to repair and a very high bill from Clearview work that was supposed to be guaranteed "or it's free". In my experience, that's merely a promise to make them look good.
I am completely unimpressed, I will NEVER call this company again, NEVER recommend them and feel this company is very good at advertising, and apologizing but leave a lot to be desired when it comes to workmanship, communication and their useless "guarantee". Clearview plumbing needs to stop ripping off Calgarians.
By the way, their advertised 'sewer cleaning special' is $99 for regular homeowners, but as a landlord I was charged $666. Nice bias, Clearview.

After reviewing your file, ClearView was out to your residence on July 19/12 to un- clogged the drain. ClearView augured the drain as per the option you choose. ClearView then again came out to your residence on July 27/12 to once again augur the same drain. This was a free of charge visit, as on the first visit you choose the option # 1, which was auguring the drain without the warranty instead of option # 2, which was auguring the drain with the warranty. Also the basement tenant advise ClearViews technician that the water marks on the ceiling were pre-existing to ClearView arrival to the residence.
