Sodhi Furniture Warehouse

I bought an upholsted bed that was in their flyer on May 11, 2014. I thought it was at good price for $265. When I came in the store (74 Devon Rd) with my mother, there were no other customer but us. I told the salesman named Malik Sandhu, that I would like to buy the bed from their flyer. He showed me their floor model and told me that when I buy, it'll be a brand new one in box and will be delivered and SET UP in the room. So I agreed to buy the furniture. He then charge me a total of $350.30 including the delivery and taxes. We agreed on delivery date and time. The bed was delivered but not set up as promised. I then called the store to get clarification and was told that the saleman that I've spoken to was off and was told to call back the next day. So I called back the next day and the saleman who was very nice during the sales was now very rude to me and did not even hear my complaints. He kept interrupting me while I was talking and he hanged up on me while I was still talking.
So my advice to consumers: NEVER BUY FROM SODHI FURNITURE! They will mislead/deceive you! Crappy"Customer service"

I got a coffee table. Asked the warehouse guys to help me put it in the car. He totally refused to do so. I was all by myself. I had to pick it up. I tried putting it in there but it wouldnt fit. Got a pocket knife opened it up and installed it into the car. I asked for help and they refused it by saying that they are busy. I would not recommend sodhi furniture to anyone. Avoid it. Worst customer service ever. They r good at when its about sale but after that its the worst experience i have ever had.

Sales people were very good in the shop, however Delivery guys were horrible and incourteous. All I asked was to keep matress that was to being delivered on the frame, but they flatly refused. I did tell them that I was injured due to a car accident and would have to call my friends to do that but request to put the matress was flatly refused. Wont recomend it to any of my friends as service is also very important for me.

Sofa set was ok, dining set is horrible, cracks developed within weeks of delivery, called a few times, got a guy came in, sanded, touched up with paint, but cracks are still there, they refused to replace and obviously can't be repaired, chairs are falling apart in a few months, oh well, lesson learned, will never buy again.

They very bad customer service after sale . One of the furniture what we bought had an issue with the arm rest and they were not willing to change it .
They werent even bothered about escalation to any level .
They kept sayng we will not replace instead fix the issue .
Never buy any thing from them - very substandard service and treat you very bad

SODHI FURNITURE HOUSE experience in short>>>>
Bought sofa and dining set on Boxing day 2013. Delivery experience horrible. Two guys delivered and their way of dealing extremely shocking and dreadful. On request to handle with care threw the sofa chair on iced heap, intentionally and ripped the cloth underneath. Purely DESI attitude. They dealt us like they came to my house to deliver forced charity. Later, I also found three rubber boots of the dining chairs missing and the chairs missing boots were not balancing properly. Moving forward called the store to fix the cloth and supply the chair boots but got the instructions to send the photographs. Believe or not their way of talking was like I did some mistake of buying furniture from them. Absolute rude, Desi attitude and finally, no response till date. Any ways, no wonder the employees are the reflection of their leader/owner/boss.

Go and buy if you don't expect any courtesy, service, quality and wants to accept the stuff at their mercy.
It is your attitude towards people that will be remembered, and your attitude will be determined how the world perceives you.

Somewhat shady. Was required a deposit of $50. Said I wasn't comfortable and they said $20. Didn't know why I need deposit on a pickup in the first place. Anyhow. Picked it up a week later in a distribution warehouse five to ten min away. Couldn't find the place. No signs and called them. They then told me cash only and I had to pay tax. All in all, Built bed no problem. Material is pretty cheap. Mdf or worse quality. But bed frame and head board for 450 all in. Not bad! So at least came out with no real problems! Customer service could be worked on and their policies refund.exchange
