Save yourself and don't start a nightmare if you need auto glass replacement

A simple window side passenger door replacement which I was told would take 2 hrs took 6 days without a car. Friday morning told to come back in 2 hrs and it would cost $225.00 -I called -was told glass not in yet call later, called again no answer. Went back and found my car locked inside - they closed early and never called me. Stuck without a car. Called Monday ;and he blasted me! Told glass would be in later or Tuesday. Tuesday said wrong glass came and he blasted me again, said getting glass Wednesday but not sure it would work. I had asked twice for my car back, to use meanwhile, and he said doors (plural) are taken apart and I can't have the car - I asked why doors- it should only be one door- he said the Car manufacturer told him to do that!!!! And then he hung up on me. I called my legal advisor to deal with it and he hung up on him. My advisor faxed him a letter and then he called my advisor and started screaming at him to pick up the car or he would charge $100 daily storage. My advisor told him fine we'll pick it up. He called back my advisor and told him he would get the glass Wednesday and whether or not it worked he could have the car by 11am. Wednesday the glass "fit" and I picked up the car. Thursday when i opened the door the whole door came apart! I went back and a new immigrant who spoke no english was working on the panel that came off and he started gluing back a major element that broke off! I just happened to see it as i went to the back of the shop. The owner said they'd "fix" it. My personal mechanic told me that the rreal fix on this is a replacement panel that would cost 4$00-$800. Of course they just glued it on and put a metal bracket over it so it shouldn't come off again. My $45000.00 car now has a permanent damage on that door panel. Aside from the very poor workmanship the owner is a maniac to deal with. He won't listen to a word you say and attacks you verbally to intimidate you. Hijacking my car and being abused is not the service I remotely anticipated. it was a nightmare

Approximate cost of services:
$300.00
