Exterior By Design Stucco And Stone Inc

We hired Exterior by Design for a large scale renovation to our complete home exterior last fall. The work we hired them to do was to replace all of our windows and doors, build an all new large covered deck in the back, install beautiful big Douglas fir posts in the front, install a new shingle roof, install stucco and stone veneer to the complete outside of the house, all new exterior lighting fixtures and potlights, install approximately 1000 square feet of interlocking patio stone, 3 new garage doors, and all new soffits and eavestroughs. We could not have asked for better contractors. From the carpentry, stucco, stone, and window crews to the finishing details like caulking and paint, the crews were professional, courteous, and respectful of our property every time. Pricing was reasonable, and although not the cheapest, we know we got what we paid for and would strongly recommend anyone looking for an exterior renovation to consider this company. Management, timing, and cleanup were taken care of well and we absolutely love the new way our boring old house looks now! It was much warmer all winter with all the new insulation around the house, our furnace kicked in much less often.

If I had known what a difference stucco would have made to my home, I would have done this years ago. David was very thorough in his description of the process. Everything was done exactly to his specifications. Everyone involved was polite and professional. I will be using this company in the future to do my stonework. Fantastic work and the price was reasonable.

Got Stucco done on second story and stone facing on front, aluminum all around, they resloped the terrace and did a bulkhead around the terrace. Everybody did a great job from the carpenter, stucco guys, stone guys, electrician, aluminum guys. We are really pleased with the result. It was a big job involving a lot of people and everybody took pride in their work.

William and David did a fabulous job on the front of my house. The project included two semis - mine and my neighbour. The craftsmen they use - particularly the gentleman that applied the stucco - are superb, the best in the business. Throughout the project we had numerous rave reviews from our neighbours as they past by. The project was completed on time and within budget. The company came recommended to us by a neighbour who had similar work performed on their house two years earlier. I would recommend this company to anyone considering exterior work required on their home.

David and his team did the exterior of our home 2 years ago. We recently had an issue with the joint on one of our downspouts. Within 24 hours of asking David for some assistance it was fixed. Now that's how you spell service.

Right from the beginning we were met with professionalism, Impeccable quality of work and on time. A complete outdoor reno of stonework, stucco and garage done ahead of schedule! The owner David and his newphew William were always available to talk, came by often to check on the quality of work and alway gave advice on what stone was best! We had Hardieboard siding installed and wanted to finish the look with some some on the base of the house. JJ came over with some ideas and the project was competed in a day the following week. Looks great, thanks!

Got quotes from 3 different contractors and Exterior by Design's was competitive. Two main factors contributed to choosing Exterior by Design: completion date and no "secondary" touches done by somebody else. Doing the complete job gave us peace of mind that no "blame" would be thrown around if something would not be right.
The attention to detail of the crew and their workmanship was excellent. They frequently queried when in doubt about some possible design options and they worked timely to complete the job.
The carpentry job done by Ryan was equally impressive as was his ability to "see" our design... without having one.
Main reason I would strongly recommend Exterior by Design is because they took the time to listen and "make it right", meaning, help us materialize our vison, and we're very appreciative of that.
Some communication issues, perhaps more annoying because we all contracted Covid at home just before the project started...
Overall very good job and already considering more projects with them.
