Trecc was my builders choice to complete my electrical work. I had gone to there facilities to meet with there sales team and they seemed quite knowledgable about there work. Things were good in the initial phase however after my first initial meeting that's when things got dicey. I wanted to have my home wired with home automation and i missed a couple of outlets so I went back and made a request to them to add these new outlets. The first issue I encountered was that in order to complete this job I could not append it to the current work order on my new home but was forced to pay the additional outlets up front. I paid over 5000 up front which i think is extremely odd since there was a work order created without any of the work started.
My next issue was with there lack of attention to detail. After completing my initial walk through I noticed they missed all the speaker wiring and all the network (ethernet) wiring. I requested them to get this completed after this.
Once they came back to add the missing cables the completion was extremely sloppy as there wasn't wholes properly drilled through, it look like the made a tiny whole through the joists of the floor and it was too small so they decide to take a hammer and smash the whole bigger to accomodate the cabling.
After taking possession of the home, most of my cables weren't actually terminated and I was in complete shock as i had paid nearly 10,000 in additional wiring and I expected all the cables to be terminated. I spoke to their sales rep and asked about this and they gave me a quote for another 2000 dollars to terminate the cable. I'm in complete awe in regards to this an ended up hiring my own electrician to complete this job for a fraction of the cost.
Overall similar to the other customers, wall plates weren't even on, and it was an extremely poor job. I would very cautious when using them as a builder.
