Doesn't stand behind their product
The sidewalk up to the garage was built incorrectly and they continue to refuse to fix it. It heaves against the garage warping the siding and destroying the parging all because they installed the concrete without the best practice use of Buffalo board. I would expect the company to own their mistake unfortunately they strongly deny. I would expect kimberly to stand behind the product they make but they clearly don't care if they have done it wrong. I am truely disapointed with the service they provide. Try using a more reputable builder because clearly kimberly is checked out.
Update:
I feel it is important to set some facts straight. Kimberly is well aware the Alberta new home warrenty program has no bearing in this issue as it is a detached garage and is therefore not covered. It is also important to note the offer to fix the parging and metal flashing at the bottom of the garage door is a temporary solution as in the winter the concrete will swell and destroy the parging and flashing again as it did the year before. I think it is a large stretch of the imagination to claim that you stand behind the craftsmanship of your product if when you make a mistake your solution is to only offer a temporary cosmetic solution. The real truth is you are deffering the real problem off the the homeowner down the road and this is likely what any prospective buying can expect. Kimberly's customer service stops after you have signed on the dotted line. If that's what kimberly stands for im not buying and you shouldn't too.

Hi Tim, Thank you for voicing your concerns. We value our customers and care about your concerns. We follow the Alberta New Home Warranty Program standards and while grading items are not items covered under warranty, we have added additional drainage, raised the man door, and replaced the cracked parging and flash below the door. You are able to have this reassessed by Alberta New Home Warranty should you choose to do so, so that proper steps are taken.
