We took possession of our home July 2015- after a 3 month delay.
We have been arguing with Van Dyk to do a proper repair of a structural crack in the basement since we first noticed it when the house was under construction. It is leaking again.
After our 1st year in our new home, the roof leaked. Van Dyk refused to fix it, siting 'Ice Damming'. Since then, we have spoken to many neighbours who also encountered roof leaks. Ice damming is not covered under Tarion Warranty.
We ended up purchasing a steel roof and had to replace damaged kitchen counter from flooding.
