Things to keep in mind:
1. They have a minimum service charge to come to your door, but will charge you at least double for less than 10 minutes of work on-site (they replaced 2 fuses with ones that we supplied).
2. They falsely advertise a 10% discount referral on their website, and will not bother to return your call to address/clarify this, once they have been paid.
3. They did not resolve our problem entirely (They were called in to fix a partial power loss issue at my mom's house. They replaced 2 blown fuses, charged us a significant $, and told us to replace all our fuses with 15A fuses. Replacing all fuses did not return power to all areas).
4. They changed their scope of work from fixing the power loss issue to changing the 2 fuses, and will charge extra to come back to fix the unresolved areas.

Pros:
1. Prompt service, contractor arrived within an hour and a half.
2. Provided some resolution to partial power loss at my mom's house.

I was very satisfied with Kronos Electricals. Stan did an awesome job of all the plug points and even came a second time when I called him to fix something. They were polite, honest and very knowledgeable. I am really satisfied and will certainly be using their services again as well as recommending them to my friends and colleagues.

Except for a couple of mischiefs during the job, the service was good. Whatever problems happened (a damaged appliance, need to re-do some parts of the job) were solved (see the company response): I would attribute all these to the fault of particular employee. Stan was helpful to come on his own and fix everything.

Insurance company says replace all aluminum and knob and tube wiring in the next 60 days or no insurance. Now this becomes a crisis. Who do you go to when you know nothing about building rewiring and you know the final cost is going to hurt. I asked my trusted electrician friend what to do? He recommended Stan because that is what he does. Building rewiring is a big and a problematic project. You require someone who possesses knowledge, experience and compassion because this is a very expensive job. Compassion because with all projects there are surprises. In many cases Stan absorbed the cost within the initial price quote and when additional work was needed Stan presented the reason and the cost of the additional work (smoke detectors etc.). I felt Stan showed good judgement when an additional cost was needed. In the end I have a building that is safe, problem free and have additional electrical functionality that has made me very happy. Included in the quote was plastering, a headache I did not have to worry about. The building was like Swiss cheese requiring extensive patchwork. The plastering managed by Nick from Accurate Designs quickly addressed the work and cleaned up the mess. An additional headache that arises is the job requires an Electrical Inspection. The work must be done to electrical code. We passed easily which was a relief. The final issue is what happens if something goes wrong? Stan comforted me by saying if any issue arises he will address it because his work is covered by a 10-year warranty. When was the last time a trades-person ever offered you that? The insurance company approved the work which resulted in the continuance of our building insurance. Thank you Stan and Nick!!!

I contacted Kronos Electrical originally to have pot lights and under counter lights installed in the kitchen and was pleased to hear the job could commence without much delay. We were thinking about installing pot lights in the living room also and decided to go ahead with the additional area. The discovery of partial knob and tube wiring was not anticipated but were relieved to have this replaced. The electricians were very knowledgeable, made suggestions and paid attention to detail including clean-up. We would recommend Kronos and would not hesitate to call them again.

We had Stan come by last week to give us a quote on some electrical work. He was friendly and knowledgeable and easy to speak with. Today Stan came to the work--some minor repairs to my outdoor light sensor and install some indoor timers. Again, he efficient, courteous and helpful. My final bill was exactly as he had quoted when he was here previously. He even replaced my outdoor sensor light bulbs for no charge. I highly recommend Kronos--this was my second time using them. I would definitely use them again.

Since our house is about 40 years old, it was recommended by an inspector to get the fuse-panel changed into circuit breakers.

After several interviews, we decided to use Stan from Kronos. He worked with our budget to replace the fuse-panel with circuit-breakers, check the aluminum wiring, add an outlet and provide an ESA. Since he was here anyway, we also asked him to change all of our light-switches and electrical outlets to newer ones.

Throughout the process, Stan and his assistant were attentive to our needs. There were some inevitable hiccups along the way, but Stan came in the next morning to try to resolve them.

To earn a 10, we would have liked a little more clean-up and fewer hiccups, but generally, all of the electrical works fine.

Overall, I recommend Stan and Kronos for electrical work and we would be happy to use them again.

Stan took my call and promised to show up faster than anyone else I called with no appointment, which is appreciated. When he arrived he quoted me a price, and after drilling into my walls do what he agreed to, said there is a problem and can't do it, but for an additional 25% to the cost - he could. He completed a satisfactory job, and after leaving he dumped his garbage on my lawn after he left.

Professional , trustworthy, courteous and efficient service. I am highly recommending Kronos electrical ! When our bathroom (knob and tube tie-in) fried on a thanksgiving weekend night I called more than one emergency service to help me, Stan was the only one who responded quickly and did not take advantage of the holiday time to charge a service call fee. He repaired the bathroom knob and tube right away and the rest of our house later. We are very happy with the work and have used Kronos electric for all of our electrical needs.

Out of all the electricians that we called Stan was the only one that got back to us for our damaged pipe. He was there the same day and was delightful - we had no regrets. He fixed our dangling wires and even recommended some other work to be done in our home. Stan was friendly and charming, so much so that our neighbours got wind of it and he fixed their pipe too. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family! Thanks!
